Hello,

My name is Elise, I am 31 years old, and I am French. Nice to e-meet you!

I was born in Strasbourg, in the Eastern part of France, but have been living in Paris for some years now.

I am on a Working Holiday Visa in Australia since June 20, after being on a similar visa in New-Zealand just before.
I couldn’t picture my life without travels, I feel like it has brought me so much. I have had the opportunity to live one year in Tokyo during my studies, and to spend more than 2 years in Canada.

I also love to learn foreign languages. I can speak English, Japanese, German (though I must admit I haven’t practiced for a while so, it’s a bit rusty ), and very little Chinese and Arabic.

I love to meet new people who have had various experiences. I think it’s very inspiring! I enjoy discovering new places, be it on the corner of my street or around the world, listening to music, and eating delicious dishes.
I also really love animals. I have shared my house with cats since I was a little baby, but given the small size of Parisian apartments, I couldn’t afford to have a pet there. :( So I would love to share some time with animals again. I have been a vegetarian for many years now.

Initially, my professional experiences were in offices, behind a computer. I decided to make a change since I didn’t feel like it was very fulfilling for me. During my stays abroad, I like to experience something completely different, to learn new skills (I’d love to learn more about tinkering or gardening for instance), and to put the skills I already have to help people and causes that I care about. :)

Be it taking care of animals, manual work… I may not have too much experience in these fields, but I am very curious and a keen learner.
