So first things first, I am Clarissa, born and raised in French Canada!
Witch means that I speak French, English and Portuguse… why Portuguese you ask, well my parents are immigrants from Portugal!

I think that what you should know about me is that I love life, I am really grateful to be able to enjoy it as much as I am, for me it’s a real privilege to be able to explore and experience so many beautiful places in the world!

Back in Canada I’m a event coordinator and I absolutely love my job! I’m an organized person who loves to solve problems hahaha and that is the truth! I tried a lot of different jobs before discovering what I really liked so I had a lot of experiences: Waitress, Flight attendant, Manager of a pub and a Lodge, receptionist, camp leader etc.

I’m a very tidy person and love to organize and clean… I know it’s weird but I love to see the before after of my hard work hahah. I swear I’m normal…

My first Workaway experience was at The living Lodge Portugal, a beautiful surf lodge on the cost of the Algarve where I volunteer for two weeks and was offered a management position for the high season witch lasted 8 months.

I am here to meet new people, learn and be given the opportunity to help in whichever way I can!

What else... I am an animal lover, love to swim, hike, read, cook, walk and got a coffee addiction!

I've been a vegetarian for 16th years now!

Oh, and I love Céline Dion (how very french Canadian of me)!
