Bonjour !
Je suis un Coréen de 59 ans, amoureux de la France et des Français depuis longtemps, et intéressé par leur patrimoine, leur culture et leur mode de vie.
Depuis que j'ai quitté mon emploi il y a trois ans, je voyage dans le sud-est de la France en tant que woofer ou workawayer deux à trois mois par an, où je découvre diverses activités : jardinage, maraîchage, élevage de moutons, menuiserie, ménage, etc. Ce fut une période très heureuse et précieuse pour moi. Les hôtes que j'ai rencontrés sont ensuite devenus mes amis et nous entretenons une relation durable.
Cet automne, je prévois d'explorer le sud-ouest de la France. C'est parce que je veux mieux connaître la France, rencontrer plus de Français. Mes voyages sont davantage axés sur les rencontres, leurs modes de vie et les histoires que nous pouvons partager, plutôt que sur de simples visites touristiques.
Je ne parle pas couramment le français, mais avec un peu de patience, je suis sûr que nous pourrons avoir de nombreuses conversations. Si l'on me confie des tâches comme celles mentionnées ci-dessus, je les exécuterai avec tout mon cœur et toute ma sincérité, et je suis prêt à m'adapter à tout environnement.
J'espère que cette rencontre durera longtemps et enrichira la vie de chacun.

I'm a 59-year-old Korean man who has long loved France and the French, and is interested in their heritage, culture, and way of life.
Since leaving my job three years ago, I've been traveling to southeastern France as a woofer or workawayer for two to three months each year, experiencing various things: gardening, market gardening, sheep farming, woodworking, cleaning, etc. It was a very happy and precious time for me. The hosts I met then became my friends and we continue to have a relationship.
This fall, I plan to explore southwestern France. This is because I want to get to know France better, meet more french people, and perhaps, for me, because I want to share more with the others who live with me on this planet. My travels are more focused on the people I meet, their lifestyles, and the stories we can share about our lives, rather than just sightseeing around the area.
I'm not fluent in French, but if you have a little patience, I'm sure we can have many conversations. If I am entrusted with tasks like those listed above, I will carry them out with all my heart and sincerity, and I am ready to adapt to any environment.
I hope this encounter will last a long time and enrich everyone's lives.

Since I grew up in the countryside from a young age to the age of 17, I am quite familiar with various tasks in the countryside. Raising livestock, field work, DIY, etc.

After studying at a university in Korea, I continued to study on at the University Paris 9. Since then, I have been working in service planning and new business promotion for telecommunications companies such as SKTelecom in Korea.

I've been playing classical guitar for over 30 years, so I can teach you. Golf is my favorite sport. Since I have been faithfully trained in the basics, I have reached a level where I can teach. Also, my go skills are top-notch for an amateur.

On the other hand, I have a lot of interest in people and society. So I love to discuss various topics.
In September 2024, I published a book in korean in Seoul, a collection of essays based on my experiences at Workaway and WWOOF.
