We are Roman (41) and Conny (37), a German couple who have been traveling the world for nine months. Roman has a degree in economics and brings ten years of experience in sales for US technology companies. Conny is an experienced office clerk with 20 years of professional experience in large companies. Our journey now takes us to Africa, where we would like to actively participate in social projects.

The last nine months have strengthened our ability to adapt and be open to different cultures. Due to our diverse experiences, we specifically look for opportunities to use our skills in social projects. Our interests lie not only in contributing professional knowledge, but also in contributing personally to improving the lives of local people.

We are not only good at contributing our know-how in the tech industry as mentors, but we also want to get involved. Roman brings a good craftsmanship as well as a lot of knowledge in online marketing, gastronomy and the hotel industry.

In addition to her professional experience, Conny has a lot of empathy in social areas and loves working with children (whether it's doing homework together or play together). But she also enjoys working on a farm or in the kitchen, as she spent a lot of time on her grandparents' farm during her childhood.

With a balanced mix of professional know-how, empathy and love of travel, we want to make a meaningful contribution through Workaway. In our profile, we emphasize our willingness to engage with local communities not only as workers, but also as respectful team members. Our goal is not only to help, but also to learn from the people and cultures we interact with.
