We are Mostar's longest running hostel, operating for over 15 years. With over 10,000 guests we provide a welcoming family atmosphere for guests to experience Bosnian hospitality at it's best. A lot of our guests book our hostel for the tour that we provide of the Herzegovina region, as well as the famous War Tour of Mostar. As a volunteer, you have the chance to truly connect with the the rich history of the region, understand the war from the perspective of someone who fought in it, and create friendships that will last a lifetime.
We only accept SOLO TRAVELERS OVER THE AGE OF 21
Minimum stay is 3 WEEKS

We run the oldest hostel in Mostar, as well as offer one of the most famous Harzegovina and War tours in the region. Volunteers will become part of our family, and will learn a lot about the region, Bosnian customs and culture, as well as the War.

You will be responsible for helping with check in, assisting guests and the owner with enquiries, recommending local attractions, bars and restaurants, promoting the tour as well as ensuring the hostel is clean and secure at all times.

The experience with Miran, Maja and Faris has been unbelievable. Best host I've ever encountered on Workaway, you become part of the family and you learn a lot of things about Mostar and Bosnia. The hostel is very clean and cozy in a beautiful area of town, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Staying at Hostel Miran was such a wonderful experience! I stayed for a little over 3 weeks and loved it! The hostel has a great atmosphere, definitely a social place but not a party hostel.
