Ciao! I am a new workawayer, a young, friendly and outgoing Aussie looking for a year of adventure and new experiences in Italy whilst sharpening my Italian vocab and immersing myself in the culture.
I have plenty of experience in hospitality and nannying roles, however most recently have worked in a non-for profit in Aus as a Fundraising Marketer, and also qualified in Public Health & International Studies, so I can bring quite a unique perspective to the things I do.
I had studied Italian all through my schooling years, even having completed a short Student Exchange many years ago (in Torino!) hence why I am keen to stay and work and live in Italy for a longer period.
Things that bring me happiness, definitely being outdoors like snowboarding in the winter and especially being at the beach in summer! And in general being active like running and pilates, travelling and meeting new people and having new experiences and learning in general :)

Hospitality- years of experience in hospitality (Melbourne, Aus) ranging from barista & shift supervisor in cafès, waitress and food prep assistant in pizzeria restaurant and also bartending/booth attendant in clubs/bars.
Babysitter- years of experience nannying & babysitting for families with children aged 5-15 years old, on school holidays, weekends and evenings.
University- hold a double degree in Applied Public Health and Global Studies from Australian Catholic University (Melbourne, Aus). Included a Virtual Internship with FutureSense Foundation.
Career- Fundraising Marketer- 3 years experience in raising funds and generating new donors for a non-for-profit Community Service Organisation operating in Victoria & Tasmania states of Australia.
