Currently (October 2025) I am on one of the Balearic islands and looking to stay a bit longer on these wonderful islands..

Workaway is one of my travelling options. I don't use Workaway to find somewhere to sleep, but I use it in its true spirit - as exchange of different peoples' lifestyles, views on life, energies, consciousnesses, cultures, etc. I say this, because I have had some experiences where I felt something between a servant and a slave. I'd like my host to host me because they are interested in me and my energy, just like I am choosing my hosts.

These days, I'm mainly offering my language skills as exchange (more below). It would be great to stay with a family, woman or couple and help with improving their English or German. I am also practised in hypnosis, and can tell you more about it if there's interest (it's probably not like you imagine it being).

Also, translation is something I have worked in for many years, and I have also worked as writer and teaching people languages through talking and conversing (English and German). I'm native in German and fluent in English and will help grow your language skills in a natural way if you want to improve them. I like learning languages like babies learn, and that's how I prefer teaching too.

What else.. I have lived in various European countries and regions (Austria, United Kingdom and Canary Islands) and have also done some Workaways mainly in the hospitality sector and recently one with a family. I am someone who's easy-going, respectful, and I enjoy meeting different people and can get along and talk with anyone about very very many things. I also enjoy being by myself and am an independent person.

I'm super interested in consciousness and consciousness development, and am actively working on becoming an even greater human being.

What I like doing:
Being in nature, going for walks, crafting, having a go at (African) drums, handpans and Tibetan singing bowls, dancing, experimenting and expanding consciousness, enjoying a trance and going within myself (the last two interests without any substances, see below), learning about non-physical and "woo woo" stuff, reading,..

Here's a bit more info about my professional and volunteer background:

I studied fashion journalism, worked as journalist, translator and photographer (including international fashion magazines and my blog during that time), gave English and German language conversation classes, worked at hostel receptions, helped growing a garden, fed animals, built pathways, painted walls and a table, decorated, organised an Easter egg hunt, led city walking tours, managed people and delegated tasks, photographed various events, took photos for hostels' websites, did live streams of events,... and so much more. I have done a ton of different stuff over the years, from many different parts of life. I 've also opened up so much and have grown a lot emotionally in the past few years.

I believe strongly in "live and let live" (even though you can't really do that 100% in this current material world for many reasons).

I strive to always evolve and grow. Actually evolution was the name and theme of my dissertation magazine many many years ago, but now the word has acquired much more depth and will continue doing so..

Some of my qualities are being loyal and trustworthy, sticking to my word and being able to view things from other peoples' perspectives. I also pay attention to detail. I've been told many times that I'm trusted. I have also being developing my sovereignty.

I challenge myself to pay attention to what I put in my body/mind/consciousness and what I consume, starting from food and going to "cultural inputs" (media/songs/series, etc), even though it's not always super easy.

If you have any children: I'm an older sister and mentally have always been like a "mini parent" to my brother and have also felt responsible for him. Growing up it was always in my mind to be a great role model for him. And when interacting with children I am very aware that they are extremely impressive and easily influenced and adapt my behaviour and words to that.

Also, I don't drink alcohol, smoke anything or do any other drugs.
