Ciao, sono Carmen, una ragazza italiana che viaggia per il mondo con workaway da circa tre anni. Ho studiato lingue e letterature antiche e sono laureata in Cinema, Arti Figurative e Teatro. Ha recitato in una compagnia teatrale, ha studiato danza classica per 10 anni e ora pratica e insegna Power Yoga. Ha una passione per la fotografia, infatti porta sempre con sé la sua Nikon e nel tempo libero canta. Nel 2018 ho aperto un cocktail bar culturale nel centro di Bologna e ho quindi imparato l'arte della mixology e come diventare imprenditore. Nel bar si tenevano diversi eventi artistici tra cui concerti, piano bar, mostre d'arte e spettacoli teatrali. Dopo la pandemia ho deciso di vendere e iniziare l'avventura con workaway. Dopo tre anni ho imparato molte altre cose viaggiando tra Africa, Europa, USA e Messico, soprattutto come vivere una vita ecologica in piena collaborazione con la natura che tanto amiamo. Tra le mie competenze oggi rientrano anche: la permacultura, la rivitalizzazione di terreni desertici con microrganismi, la piantumazione di piante commestibili e non commestibili, la cura di animali domestici e da fattoria, la costruzione di strutture sia in modalità classica che con materiali ecologici come il COB, la ristrutturazione, l'allestimento di interni, il servizio di house sitting, babysitting, petsitting e molto altro. Amo mangiare bene ed è per questo che sono un’ottima cuoca. Mi piace la buona compagnia e avere sempre nuovi scambi culturali e di idee. Sono un’anima curiosa che ama imparare sempre cose nuove. Mi dedico con cura e attenzione al lavoro che svolgo e mi piace anche prendermi cura di mente e corpo allenandoci periodicamente.

Carmen and Giovanni received an artistic and humanistic training. Carmen performed singing, dancing and theater activities. Giovanni Drawing, painting and music. Carmen has passion of photography. We have carried out all the tasks concerning catering and mixology, personnel management and sales activities. We have experience in agriculture and gardening. We know how to use all the office package for the computer, Adobe, illustrator and more. We have problem solving and team management skills. Carmen has participated for many years in the AGESCI scouts, therefore with good survival and adaptation skills. Finally Carmen has obtained the sailing license, so we have a good propensity for navigation.
