I am currently located near Tokyo, helping a friend finish building his home. I recently returned to Japan after many years away. (My Japanese is rusty but serviceable.)

Descripción

I travel because i enjoy traveling.

I am a nomadic, retired, traveling volunteer without a fixed addtess. I frequently volunteer for All Hands & Hearts, a disaster relief organization. With them, I do construction work.

Therefore I am used to roughing it a bit, and putting my back into the work. I am retired, so I am not a kid. My most recent hosts have had hundreds of work-away style volunteers, and evidently they rate me at the top due to my work ethic, my neatness and low impact, and maturity and empathy for their position.

(Years ago I had my own land, a hobby farm in the tropics, and I had work-traders. I know the experience from the host’s side.)

I enjoy farm work, landscaping and building. Muscle work. landscaping and gardening, I am at this moment near Tokyo, back in Japan after 10 years away, helping a friend build his house. I am hoping to find a work away situation in or near Okinawa.
