Hi there! 😊

My name is Bernadette, I'm 30 years old and originally from Austria. I'm a nurse and recently completed my Master’s degree in Public Health. I'm passionate about health, well-being, and connecting with people from different cultures.

My love for traveling started when I was 20 years old and spent a year abroad as an au pair in California – an experience that opened my eyes to the beauty of cultural exchange and inspired me to keep exploring the world.

I’ve decided to take some time to travel, recharge, and gain new experiences outside of my usual work environment. I want to learn new skills, work with people from all walks of life, and immerse myself in different ways of living and thinking.

I enjoy being around people and I would love to be a part of different DIY projects as well. I'm also very open to work with animals and enjoy the variety that comes with different tasks and situations. I'm open-minded, curious, and always happy to lend a helping hand wherever it's needed.

So far I did one Workaway at a reception at a hotel in Costa Rica 🇨🇷

DIY/GARDENING: I’m a hands-on and creative person with experience in various areas. I enjoy DIY projects and love working with my hands. I have basic gardening skills and am happy to help with planting, weeding, or general outdoor work.

ANIMALS: I love animals and I feel very comfortable around them. I have experience in taking care and working with horses and dogs.

SOCIAL WORK/GENERAL TASKS: Thanks to my background as a nurse, I’m used to working closely with all kinds of people. I’m pretty easy-going, organized and enjoy helping with planning, coordination, or household tasks. I`m used to work in a team, but I also enjoy it to have some time for myself.

LANGUAGE: Happy to share my German and English skills with you. I would like to improve my Spanish.
