Hi, I'm Ava! I left my life as a ballet teacher in NYC to spend a year exploring Australia on working holiday visa. That year in Oz led to another year spent backpacking across Southeast Asia, South America, and Mexico.

Using Workaway in the past I have been lucky enough to get trained as a whitewater kayak & rafting guide in the French Alps, learned to surf while working at a surf hostel in Peru, cleaned up waterfalls in the Philippines where I got introduced to scuba diving, and helped on an off the grid homestead in the Daintree of Far North Queensland, AUS.

Now, I'm back in the states figuring out what's next! I'm hopeful Workaway can help steer me towards my next journey!
