Hello! I'm Aurelia, a 31 year old woman from Australia.

I grew up in Melbourne, but have spent the past six years up in the Northern Territory working as an anthropologist in Indigenous Land Rights (Native Title). I have just quit my job and am taking some time to travel overseas.

Some of the things I love doing are eating and cooking food, making art and being creative, laughing and being silly, and getting out in nature and exploring new places.

I am curious, open-minded and friendly - easygoing but also hardworking! I'm looking forward to meeting new people, learning new skills and immersing myself in local cultures!

I'm a creative person - I studied fine art at university and ran a life drawing class for 3 years in Melbourne. I am drawn to light and colour - I especially love drawing and printmaking, but also enjoy making things with my hands.

I've spent the last 6 years working with Aboriginal peoples in the Top End of the Northern Territory of Australia, as an anthropologist in the Indigenous Land Rights sector (Native Title). Lots of experience with qualitative research, writing, editing, fieldwork, ethnography, communication, computers, community engagement.

I love cooking and sharing food, and love being creative in the kitchen - I'm quite good at whipping up a meal from not much!

While I don't have extensive gardening experience, I like to grow my own vegetables when I can.

I don't have much manual labour experience, but I've done lots of remote travel for my work, and am used to being out in the heat, and getting sweaty and dirty!

Always enthusiastic to throw myself into learning new things.
