Descripción

I am always looking for exciting experiences so that I can meet new people and travel to new places! I have just graduated high school (I'm 19) and am now looking to explore the world!

I love being outdoors and going on long hikes or backpacking trips. Most recently I did 4-days on the Kumano Kodo trail in Japan. I also love reading and I always have a book in my hand between hikes (and sometimes during).

I am also a big fan of cooking and baking. From cupcakes to cream puffs I am always baking something new and love making all my friends try my new creations. I love playing with new flavors and seeing how much spice I can handle before crying :)

A fun fact about me is I am a Scuba Diver and I love swimming with sharks and other marine life!

The world is giant and I can't wait to see everything it holds, which means I am always up to trying new foods and visiting off-the-beaten track locations. Additionally I love languages, though I can't say I am any good at them, I will love trying to learn.

Photography/Videography + Design:
I am currently employed as a photographer and have experience taking pictures for clients, editing, and working to achieve their vision. Additionally I have experiences writing short blurbs and creating photo collages for websites and newsletters. Finally I am also a trained drone operator with many hours of experience with flying different types (I have my own camera + drone that I bring on my travels).

Cooking:
I have grown up cooking and baking with my family and I love experimenting with new flavors and cooking methods. Additionally I worked a job with a small kitchen for 2 years (Not a restaurant though).

Outdoor Experience:
I have a lot of experience in wilderness survival, including knot tying, fire starting and navigation. Additionally I have a Wilderness First Responder certification. This certification includes a CPR certification and gives me dozens of hours working in simulated trauma-based situations. I also have some gardening experience and am always willing to learn more.

Tutoring:
I have tutoring experience in most school subjects (History, Math, Physics, etc.) and have also taught chess.

I currently only speak English fluently but I have also taken multiple years of Spanish in high school. Additionally I am currently learning Japanese. Because I have gone through the process of learning other languages I believe I could teach English well using my own experience with other languages.

Finally I am always willing to learn a new skill and give it my all!
