We are Anne & Fiz with our five year old son Taio. We are a German/British family currently based in Germany where we have been building up an organic permaculture smallholding from scratch on 3ha of land for the last 11 years. We also run a bed and breakfast. We have been an active Workaway and Wwoof host for the past ten years and hosted many volunteers from all around the world at our farm. We have also been volunteering ourselves in France, Spain and Portugal about ten years ago and this summer we are planning to visit some projects in Portugal. We are passionate about small scale farming, regenerative agriculture, permaculture and natural building. We are easy going, responsible people who get stuck in and love to share experiences with like minded people.

Que habilidades tienes?

Over the past 11 years we have set up a 3 ha permaculture smallholding from scratch in Germany and acquired a variety of skills along the way: growing and preserving our own food, animal husbandry (sheep, chickens, bees, ducks, geese), eco renovation and many more. We both hold a Permaculture Design Certificate. Fiz is skilled in woodworking, carpentry, natural beekeeping, animal husbandry. Anne's focus is the vegetable garden, food forest, preserving food. She is interested in traditional crafts skills like felting, wool spinning, basketry. Our son is used to helping with little bits around the farm or entertaining himself while we are working. He loves to play with other children whenever there is the chance. We all speak English and German and Anne is learning Portuguese.
