I am a Chinese international student currently studying Global Journalism in the UK. I am passionate about exploring the world, meeting people from different countries and learning about their cultures and ways of life. Over the past six months, I have had the opportunity to travel to places such as the Netherlands, France, Egypt, Morocco and Belgium, experiencing different customs and cultures.
In addition to traveling, I am also enthusiastic about volunteering. In Sheffield, UK, I have joined the local Sunday Center, which provides meals to homeless people. I volunteer there every week and find it very fulfilling and rewarding. Once, I helped a homeless person with some life issues, and he expressed his gratitude to me, which touched me deeply.
As my course is coming to an end, I would like to use the Workaway platform to travel to more countries, learn about local cultures and customs, and meet new people who share my interests. I am an outgoing person and enjoy painting and handicrafts, which is also my dream to become a full-time artist. In my future travels, I hope to meet more like-minded people and share our stories and experiences.
When I travel, the greatest pleasure for me is to explore new places and cultures. I love meeting local people and learning about their way of life, which is an important source of happiness for me. I am a foodie at heart and enjoy trying local cuisine and learning about local ingredients.
Through Workaway, I hope to gain new experiences and skills, while also giving back to the communities I visit. I am particularly interested in projects that promote sustainability and environmentalism, as these values are very important to me.
When I am not traveling, you will usually find me at home listening to music, watching movies, baking, painting, or reading a good book. My ideal day would start with watching the sunrise, followed by a day of volunteering, and end with a delicious meal and good conversation with new friends.
