Hi! After six years living abroad we decided to sign up.
Even though we work full-time jobs, we believe that you should always try to do more and help in any way you can (Scout's word).
Besides teaching English, French and Portuguese, Rita loves grandma's and grandpa's hobbies. Great at embroidering and sewing, Rita can also do the repairs and the housework when necessary. She's an active person with a great sense of humour. Rita spends the year surrounded by children and teenagers and she is a great leader, full of empathy and affection.
Ricardo is a translator and an excellent musician. A little more shy, he has a big heart and helps out whenever needed. He loves plants and animals (he never kills spiders!). Loves dad jokes.

Both graduated in languages, literatures and cultures, we have different professions, Rita is a teacher and Ricardo is currently a translator (having been a teacher in the past). We are a strong team, capable of great challenges. We've been together for a decade, we've lived together abroad and we've worked side by side on a European volunteer project. We have a great sense of initiative and we work hard. Before we had our current professions, we did other jobs. In the European volunteer project, we painted a caravan, took part in archaeological excavations, helped organise a festival and made friends for life.
In our daily lives, Ricardo works from home and Rita teaches at various schools in the city. We know how to cook, clean, paint... just let us know and we'll help you with whatever you need.

We love playing Uno cards. Ricardo plays chess, the guitar and is learning to play the piano. Rita can play the ukulele and sing. We know how to make great gastronomic specialities! Rita can also sew clothes and embroider. We love watching films together and EAT!
