We are Andy & Mareike, a married couple born in Germany, who enjoy connecting with people from all over the world and learning about their cultures!

Mareike enjoys crafting nourishing meals from fresh vegetables - cooking is her meditation. She is a Speech Therapist (with a passion for languages) and practices Ayurveda while teaching yoga.

Andy loves playing his handpan (if you've never experienced this instrument before, he's happy to give you a little concert). He studied sports economics and worked for a health company. He enjoys physical work like chopping wood, etc.

We both cherish spending time in nature, with animals, and engaging in creative activities, as much as we love sharing knowledge with everyone we encounter on our journey.

We aren't particularly fond of big cities, noise, or partying. We are non-smokers and don't drink alcohol.

Que habilidades tienes?

Mareike:

My first training and nearly 10 years of professional experience were in media design. After that, I changed professions and studied speech therapy with a focus on neurological disorders, working at a large hospital in rehabilitation and on the intensive care unit.

I have always been very interested in health and have been a certified yoga teacher for over 10 years, integrating yoga into my work at the hospital as well.

For the past 4 years, I have been self-employed as a yoga teacher and Ayurveda coach, founding the first Ayurveda Festival in Germany.

I love cooking, especially for a large group. Seeing satisfied faces after a good meal fulfills me greatly!

I adore animals and being in touch with nature - whenever possible, I enjoy spending time outdoors.

Thanks to my father being a painter, I learned to paint and have a sense of aesthetics.

I am computer-savvy and love photography.

Languages I speak:
German
English
Spanish
And a bit of Portuguese.

I always look forward to learning new things and sharing my knowledge!

Andy:

I trained as an industrial clerk and then studied sports economics.

I love being physically active and spending a lot of time in nature. Wood chopping makes me happy :)
Additionally, I enjoy sports a lot (running, hiking, cycling, soccer, volleyball).

I've been playing the handpan for 4 years now and I'm excited to inspire people with this music.
I'm very good with children and I derive a lot of joy from teaching them things.
