What to say… We had a wonderful stay with Titu! His place is such a nature paradise. Surrounded by the mountains with the river passing by. What a spectacular place! Titu is a phenomenal host! He welcomed my 2 kids and I for 8 days with so much warmth and generosity. Communication has been super easy from the beginning. Titu is always in a good mood, wanting to share and open-minded. His mind is full of ideas and projects. We had beautiful talks and a lot of fun! He is thoughtful, open to all ideas and is very flexible. The dormitory was so cozy and the food was delicioooous! Titu’s 7 dogs and cat bring life to the place and made my daughter never want to leave ;) You can go for walks in the nearby villages, waterfall and mountains. We have helped creating paths with big stones, painted art on benches and collected wood with plenty of chai breaks in between :) Thank you Titu (and Sanju ;) ) for such an unforgettable stay! Thank you for all your kindness and for treating my family with this much love. Really hope we will get to meet again!

Thank you to Lena who stayed for a week and was a pleasure to have around. She slotted in to family life immediately and was great company. Lena was easy going and happy to help out with whatever jobs we asked of her. Physically fit and confident working alone, Lena spent quite a few days weeding in the bush with no problem, this includes steep hills and scrambling around. Other jobs we asked Lena to do were sanding and painting and window cleaning, these were finished to a very high standard and jobs always completed. Thank you for your hard work, easy going nature and good company. We would highly recommend.

I appreciate your great communication skills and follow through as well as just being a genuinely good person. You are always welcome back. If Workaway had a rating higher than Excellent, that’s what we would give Pia. Bright, friendly, communicative, flexible and responsible, Pia is so proactive that she doesn’t just complete tasks, but anticipates them. More than once, we realized she had already done something we were just about to ask. She was reliable and engaged both in household tasks and in the garden, and naturally embraced our small community rules around low-impact living, showing genuine awareness, especially when it comes to waste. Our 2 years old son, who is usually shy with new people, took her hand and went off to play with her in less than two minutes. What more could we say? We would definitely host her again anytime!

Susan and Aaron are one of the kindest people I've met in my life. I have a lot of respect for the place they have built. They are both hardworking people, who also do lots of things to enjoy life. Like sports, activities on the lakes or going out for dinner. I've had the opportunity to stay with them for 3 weeks, it was a wonderful experience. I liked the work, I've helped with building chicken coops out of metal and wood. They have a lovely dog, Cooper, that I sometimes took out on a hike. Aaron and Susan provided delicious food and a very comfortable place to stay. All in all I would highly recommend to contact Susan and Aaron. My time with Sylvain and his family in Sidi Kaouki was lovely. They are very welcoming and cook delicous food! Malik is a clever student and works hard so lessons are good. I helped him mainly with English and Spanish and some science. Their ecolodge is beautiful and very calm. Sidi Kaouki is a very nice town on the coast. Merci Beaucoup a tout la famille!

Well what can we say. Oscar and Olive were squeezed in last minute between other Workawayers and were absolute treasures! Nothing was too much trouble and they were happy to tackle any task, and completed many! We so enjoyed their company and their wonder at the bird and wildlife which is just a regular part of life up here in our little piece of paradise. Thank you both! Safe travels to you and many more adventures up ahead.

Ich war im Februar/März 2026 für 6 Wochen bei Thomas und hatte eine unvergessliche Zeit in Lappland. Hauptsächlich habe ich mich um die 14 Schlittenhunde, die drei Welpen und zwei älteren Haushunde gekümmert. Füttern, spazieren gehen, Zwinger sauber machen und natürlich gaanz viel kuscheln. Mitten in der Natur umgeben von Wäldern, Flüssen und Seen bieten sich viele Möglichkeiten für verschiedene Freizeitaktivitäten. Spazieren, Schlitten oder Schneemobil fahren, Schneeschuhwandern, Grillen etc. Außerdem gibt es eine kleine Sauna! Abends haben wir oft zusammen gekocht, gemütlich mit den Hunden auf dem Sofa einen Film/Serie geschaut, Musik gemacht (Thomas hat mir ein bisschen Handpan spielen beigebracht - oder es zumindest versucht :)) und uns immer nett unterhalten. Es war ein super schönes Miteinander und wir konnten immer offen und ehrlich miteinander kommunizieren. Da Thomas Vollzeit arbeitet, hatte ich aber auch immer genug Zeit für mich und konnte mir die Tage ziemlich frei gestalten. Besondere Highlights waren das Rennen, zu welchem ich Thomas und seine Hunde begleiten durfte und die Gelegenheit, selber das Schlittenhundeteam zu fahren :)). Einige Male hatte ich auch das Glück, Nordlichter beobachten zu können. Mir stand ein eigenes Zimmer mit kleinem Bad zur Verfügung, die gemütliche Küche und das Wohnzimmer werden geteilt. Insgesamt eine tolle Erfahrung! Jeder Hunde- und Naturfan kommt hier auf seine Kosten ;)

I had such an amazing experience staying with Connie! From the moment I arrived, I felt truly welcomed. Her home is absolutely beautiful—peaceful, cozy, and full of charm. And Sayulita itself is pure magic; it’s such a vibrant and special place that completely stole my heart. I honestly had such a great time that I ended up staying 10 days longer than I originally planned! The activities were very simple and enjoyable, which made everything feel relaxed and balanced. One of my favorite parts was definitely the adorable dogs and cats—they completely stole my heart. I’m already missing them so much! I also had the chance to meet the other two Workawayers who were staying there, and they were super cool. We spent time together, went out, and created really fun memories. Overall, this experience was incredibly special to me. I would absolutely love to come back someday, and I highly recommend staying with Connie to anyone looking for a warm, friendly, and unforgettable Workaway experience. Thank you so much for everything! :)

Sei una persona onesta, leale e simpatica e soprattutto un gran lavoratore sempre con il sorriso. Mi ha aiutato tantissimo ed ha portato a compimento con dedizione ciò che doveva fare, in modo eccellente.E' molto rispettoso delle regole e ha trattato la mia casa come fosse sua. E' amichevole e stare in sua compagnia è davvero piacevole. Ci siamo divertiti lavorando e ridendo. torna presto.

Sarah was a lovely volunteer, great person with a great energu, connected with other voluunteers, staff and guets, whit great sence of hummor, she help us with garden, cleaniung and with the activities at the bar area, the two weeks happened so fastm we are going to miss you a lot!

This is a project like very few others. What first made me join was the permaculture itself, which I really enjoyed doing but it so happened to also be the perfect opportunity to discover the Hare Krishna community. In this place, are living around 100 people sharing one spiritual belief that brings them together. I was therefore very happy to immerse myself in a new lifestyle and learn. The work itself was very pleasant and fun, Thibault was a great guide and always made sure that all was going for the best. Every morning we had breakfast together, worked well in the morning and then had the afternoon off. I was able to go for walks, attend ceremonies in the temple and spend some free time relaxing. Hanna was very kind too and the communication was very fluid :-) I would recommend it to anyone ready to come with an open mind to discover something totally new, which can be pretty far from your average Workaway project. Staying with Marc and Kerriane was absolutely a highlight of our time in Australia! We felt so grateful for the opportunity to connect with Australians who are so passionate about their land and lifestyle, helping out for a month on their property! Their generosity was unwaivering and we had a lot of fun getting to know them, their friends, their farm, and the beautiful area they live in. We would recommend, given the opportunity, to stay more than 2 weeks to get accustomed to the daily routines you’ll regularly help out with, such as the dishes. We really enjoyed joining Marc at nursery once a week, removing invasives on the property, helping in Kerrianne's garden, and cooking with their son Jai who has a wealth of knowledge on cooking delicious vegetarian food! In fact, they inspired us to go vegetarian after our stay! Overall, they are really fun folks to hang out with and helped us feel really welcome. Learning to make peppery mango chutney and homeamde saurkraught was a highlight, as well as picking lychees, seeing Marc kitesurf, making countless pies with leftovers, as well as the magical visit we had from one of their resident pythons! In our free time, we really appreciated the initiative they took to get us out to the beach, take us hiking, and introduce us to their friends when going out to open mic nights and concerts! They truly are very generous, kind, fun, and caring hosts! We won’t forget all the great music we listened to together, the many funny stories shared together, all the amazing homegrown foods, and the opportunity to learn about the local ecology of the area! Thank you!!

The two months I spent at the livery were probably the best two months of my life ! I got to work in a gorgeous place, with the sweetest horses and the nicest people. Ryan is an amazing host, always there when you need him, he will make sure you have everything you need and that you feel good. He even found a way to send me back my sandals I forgot in Dublin by asking his daughter to get them for me. Not a lot of people would go this far to help you. I can't say enough good things about everyone I met there because they all were the nicest people I ever met. I felt comfortable right away. I had the chance to work with another Workaway, Heather, and we hit it off right away. She became a true friend and I could not have asked for a better partner in crime. We went on numerous hack on the beach and caring for the horses even when our work was done. The work is pretty easy, you will work only around 5 hours a day so you will have a lot of free time to explore the area. There is a lot of things to see and do around and you're just an hour away from Derry (which I recommend visiting!). You could also ride one of Ryan horses on the beach (wich if a few metres away from the livery), on the road or in the arena. I don't have enough word to say how much fun I had during my stay there and how thankful I am to Ryan and everyone I met there for making this adventure memorable.

It was great to spend time in Monika, Werner and Olivier's home in the beautiful Jura! Monika spent time telling some current and past stories of Switzerland. Werner was helpful in explaining what he needed done and how. We ate so well and varied, it was great for me to learn a few vegan tricks to bring home. I had a good time and everyone was chill and kind. It was easy to find a moment off if needed, or to share activities together. And it's super well served by public transports, despite the remote area. I could go to Geneva for a wee 2 days trip!

Corentin llegó como paracaidista a mi casa, con una precisión para ayudarme en algo que es realmente importante para nosotros , que es el corte de leña; ésa era su misión principal , logramos superar la expectativa inicial del trabajo, y además demostró habilidades un poco híbridas entre la tecnología que él conoce y la rusticidad del campo, y realmente es muy eficiente en cuanto a cualquier tarea. De ésas personas que si hace algo lo hace o no lo hace. Tiene cualidades admirables, maneja mucha información de geografía, topografía etc, es un viajero del mundo, ama cocinar, conoce mucho la alquimia de las hierbas, y fui muy afortunada por probar unos platos deliciosos, siempre acompaña todo con una luminosa sonrisa, y gran variedad de música. Tiene una calma asombrosa ,es muy silencioso, abierto , profundo y respetuoso, tuvimos muchas charlas de la vida que fueron muy especiales para mí. Fue una gran compañía para mí durante los 10 días que estuvo en casa. Lo recomiendo mucho para otros hospedadores ( sobretodo en granjas o huertas porque el ama el campo) Seguramente los sorprenderá a nivel personal y también con su capacidad de trabajo, el aporte de soluciones o ideas que tiene o propone.
