Descripción
We operate as a volunteer-based earth-inspired arts centre located on the western coast of Unama'ki / Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Our beautiful 50+ acres of recovering / regenerating forest and farm land provides rich opportunities to artistically engage with the plant and animal worlds. Here we listen, observe, learn from, and co-create with the natural world. We host ecological arts apprenticeships, artist-in-residencies, arts workshops, coaching/teaching, performances, and other events that are queer-affirming and inter-generational and that explore and thrive on the edges / at the intersections of arts both human and non-human. While centered here on Unama'ki / Cape Breton Island of Nova Scotia, Canada, our work extends throughout our local community and beyond.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje
