  Hi, I’m Gina! I live in a countryside home in Cutrofiano, South Italy, with my three dogs—Bubbles, Panda, and Pica—and two cats, Obsidian and Aurora, a sweet girl that I recently found. My pets are my world, and I’m looking for a reliable, caring person (Preferably a woman or couple) who loves animals and nature to help care for them while I’m away.
  
  I’m originally from South Africa and recently relocated to Italy, where I’ve been enjoying the adventure of starting fresh.
  
  About the House
  The house is located in a peaceful rural area, offering a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life, but its still close enough for you to get to the store or town if you need to, only a 10min drive. It’s simple but cozy, with everything you need to feel at home, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bedroom, and a spacious garden.
  
  What I’m Looking For
  I need someone who can:
  
  Look after my pets, ensuring they’re fed, walked, and loved and cared for while I’m away.
  Keep the house tidy and maintain the garden.
  Be comfortable in a rural setting—it’s peaceful.
  
  Gives you some time to relax or work on personal projects in a serene environment.
  The chance to explore beautiful South Italy. The coastline and charming towns like Lecce and Otranto are just a short drive away.
  The company of some of the most affectionate pets you’ll ever meet!
  
  I’m also looking for people to help me out with a few projects around my house and garden.
  The garden needs quite a bit of work, as there’s a lot of old rubble and items left behind by the previous tenants that need clearing out. I’d also appreciate help with tasks like filling, plastering, and painting walls, as well as general tidying up and working in the garden. These are the sorts of things I’ve been struggling to do by myself and could really use a hand with.

  I’m looking for a responsible and compassionate person (or couple) to help care for my home, pets, and garden. I’ll be around some of the time, but there will also be periods when I’m away, so flexibility and reliability are key. Here’s what I’d love your help with:
  
  Pet Care
  
  Feeding my three dogs (Bubbles, Panda, and Pica) and two cats (Obsidian and Aurora).
  
  Walking the dogs isn’t essential since they have access to a garden, but they do enjoy the occasional walk. Panda can be a bit challenging to handle if she encounters other dogs, so it’s best to take Bubbles and Pica together and walk Panda separately. If you’re a couple, the stronger individual should manage Panda.
  
  Giving them plenty of love and attention, keeping an eye on their well-being, and letting me know if anything seems unusual.
  
  
  House and Garden Maintenance
  
  Keeping the house clean, tidy, and welcoming.
  
  Watering indoor plants to keep them thriving.
  
  Helping with garden tasks, such as clearing old rubble and tidying up the outdoor space. The previous tenant left quite a bit of clutter behind, so assistance in making the garden more presentable would be greatly appreciated.
  
  If you have skills in filling, plastering, or painting walls, that would be a great bonus since I’m struggling to handle everything on my own.
  
  
  While I’ll be around at times to work alongside you or provide guidance, there will also be occasions when I’m away, so I need someone I can trust to take charge.
  
  Above all, your main role is ensuring my fur babies are safe, happy, and cared for. This is what matters most to me.
  
  This position is ideal for someone who loves animals, doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty, and enjoys peaceful countryside living. The work is flexible and can be done at your own pace, with plenty of time to relax or explore the beautiful surroundings.

  My youngest dog Pica, takes a little getting used to people, but she will warm up to you, she just needs a lot of love, she is 3 years old, Panda is 8, she loves to be loved and Bubbles, my sweet little old lady, she is 10, and 100% mommys girl. Then my cats are Obsidian, he is about 2 years, and Aurora whom I just found when I got it Italy, she is around 4 months.
  Panda does not really do well with other animals, so you will not be able to have your own pets.
