We are 2 vets and love the countryside. I am brazilian but live in Italy since 1990. Since we bought this house we never stop restoring it! The house was an old cattle farm and now is our second house.
I stay in Mantova city, 12 km away, and would like to have somebody to keep the house clean, the garden ordered and restoring, building when necessary. Renewing Art objects. Daily work is as the conditions of workaway: 5 hours a day 2 days off each 7 days. Its is a tipical countryside house of Pianura padana. You will have a big room only for you, is one of the old barns, there you have a bathroom inside, a fridge, a microwave and airfryer. As its our second house we dont live there, but we come often. You will cook for yourself, we will provide you all the food you like, usually I buy ready to cook food as there is not a owen there. You can plan your day of work, that means you can start when you prefer or split it during the day. -

Alojamiento
The main room we host workawayers is an old cattle barn, restored by myself. There is a fridge and microwave but no real "kitchen". I have there a single bed and a sofa. There is a Smart TV too. You can also be free to go for tourism once in a while alone or with us. There is bike, nearby there are many bike tours possible.

The place is Ronchi, in Mantova State. You can reach the city with hourly buses. You can reach the bus stop with a bike that we can give you. We are near wonderfull attractions like Garda Lake, Parma, Verona. Around Mantova there are many cycle ways to explore the territory.

Since the very first moment I arrived I knew I was in a little paradise for contemplation, full of art everywhere. Telma was very patient explaining the task and also showing how to do them. She was always at the phone in case I needed any help and she asked me the food I like! I ate really well despite the simple kitchen.

Alejandra was a great workawayer, always available to help. Cooks very well. Cleaning is also one of her strong points. The house was completely cleaned and organized. She also helped with gardening. Even though she is not young as many workawayers, she work better than some young workawayers that i received in the past.

With Telma I had my first Workaway experience. She immediately did respond to my request and was flexible regarding my stay. She is very social and kind. You may stay alone at the barn, yet, she will always ask if you need something and if everything is okay.

It was really a nice stay!! I stayed for 2 weeks at Telma's place with Leo (an extra friendly cat). I really recommend that place because the family is really nice and open minded! They teach me how to make some pasta and gnocchi! If you want some calm place to stay peacefully go there!
