We live on 5 acres of land in Manakau which is half way between Wellington and Palmerston North.
We are retired and need some extra help tending to our many trees, a small vineyard ,animals and garden.
We love the peaceful valley we live in as we are so near the Tararua Forest Park and Waikawa beach.

The time I spent with Pat and Sidney was truly wonderful!
I was planning on staying for just two weeks but ended up staying over a month in my own cozy cabin.

I lived a wonderful two weeks with Pat and Sid. Pat and Sid are fascinating and generous people, always willing to teach you about the “good life” as they call it. Delicious food straight from their garden and orchard, beautiful wine, interesting work, and excellent company: what more could you ask for? :) will miss the dog and cats.

Patricia and Sydney are great hosts.
I stayed with them for a week. During my stay, I’ve learnt a lot of new things, vegetables, fruits, NZ culture and meals etc.The work was mainly some gardening stuff.What I loved most was the meals she cooked, Patricia is a great chef! And the cabin was cosy and clean, like a hotel :) I truly enjoyed my stay!
I stayed with them for a week.
