  My name is Martha Sommer and I live on Samsø, an island in the middle of Denmark. I love living on my island. There is peace and quiet here and lots of lovely and beautiful nature. There are lots of opportunities in my free time. Associations, music, nature. I myself volunteer at our local cinema, where I sell tickets and coffee. I live here alone, and have three grown girls and two grandchildren in Jutland. In my free time, I also love working in my garden, knitting and cooking delicious food.
  
  Jeg hedder Martha Sommer og bor på Samsø, en ø i midten af Danmark. Jeg elsker at bo på min ø. Her er fred og ro og masser af dejlig og flot natur. Der er masser af muligheder i fritiden. Foreninger, musik, natur.
  Jeg er selv frivillig i vores lokale biograf, hvor jeg sælger billetter og kaffe.
  Jeg bor her alene, og har tre vokse piger og to børnebørn i Jylland. I fritiden elsker jeg også at arbejde i min have, at strikke og lave lækker mad.

  We have a cinema on the island and lots of clubs and opportunities to learn. I am linguistically strong and would like to learn other languages, e.g. French or Spanish. I know a lot about people and offer good conversations. It will be great to exchange languages and cultures.

  Alojamiento

  I offer a private room with a double bed for workawayers. The room is on the 1st floor and there is also access to the kitchen and bathroom and a large garden. The room is private and the workawayer lives alone, so there is plenty of opportunity for privacy. In addition, there are various stations in the house if he/she wants to be, for example, creative.
  
  I love cooking, and I enjoy trying national dishes from other cultures. During your stay, breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided, along with snacks and delicious drinks. I imagine we could cook together occasionally and try each other’s favorite dishes.
  If there are any allergies, we will, of course, adjust the meals accordingly. I eat meat, but I am also happy to prepare vegetarian food.
  
  Jeg tilbyder eget værelse med dobbeltseng til workawayer. Værelset er på 1. sal og der er desuden adgang til køkken og bad og stor have.
  Værelset er privat og workawayer bor alene, så der er masser af mulighed for privatliv. Derudover er der forskellige stationer i huset, hvis han/hun ønsker at være f.eks. kreativ.
  
  Jeg elsker at lave mad og jeg elsker at prøve andre nationalretter. Der er morgenmad, frokost og aftensmad under opholdet samt snacks og dejlige drikke. Jeg forestiller mig vi kan lave mad sammen ind imellem og prøve hinandens yndlingsretter.
  Hvis der er allergier, så tilretter vi naturligvis maden efter dette. Jeg spiser kød, men laver også gerne vegetarisk mad.

  I have a bike you can borrow. Bus connections are a bit difficult. But on a bike it's easy. I believe in God and read the Bible daily. The most important house rule is that we must respect each other.
  
  Jeg har en cykel du kan låne. Busforbindelser er lidt svære. Men på cykel er det nemt.
  Jeg tror på Gud og læser dagligt i biblen
  Den vigtigste husregel er, at vi skal respektere hinanden.
