Descripción
Hi, we are a family of three, consisting of my husband, our 5-year-old son, and me. We run our own online business, in which we offer self-realization and coaching programs. Besides this, it's our vision to create a community space on our 7000 m2 land, where people can unwind, meditate, and reset―an extension of our online work, and a space for living and spiritual growth. We just started living here, so a lot still needs to be realized, but for now the land mainly needs taking care off. So mostly, we need help with gardening, maintenance, and whatever else is needed. If you are a gem in the kitchen, that would be a great help to us as well.
We are in the small village of Esteval dos Mouros, in the Algarve, which lies nestled in a valley not far from the village of Paderne and just a five-minute drive from the popular village of Alte. The valley is great for walking, and several trails provide an opportunity for a cooling dip in the river. In Alte, a typical Portuguese coffee house provides the locals with a gathering place. The beach (Albufeira) and the large shopping center in Guia are both a 25-minute drive away.

We are a family who dared to jump and moved from The Netherlands to Portugal―moving away from the 9-5 mentality and society, following our intuition and stretching our comfort zone. We are very passionate about what we do and our spiritual lifestyle―which includes getting up in the early morning hours to meditate. Not only that, but we are building a community space, so working together, sharing food, and listening to each other is what warm our hearts.

We just started living here, so a lot still needs to be realized. But for now, we could use someone handy to help us with cutting the grass on our land, and gardening in general.

What we can offer is a very nice, just renovated, little studio (separated from, but very close to the main house). It provides a comfortable bed, a place to cook, your shower and toilet, and, of course, free internet―everything you need to relax and be comfortable in your space. If you travel in a camper van, you are most welcome too, as there is plenty of space to park.
You will be eating alone mostly, as we have a 6-year-old who needs his routine. However, we will provide the ingredients and everything needed to prepare breakfast and lunch. A vegetarian dinner will be provided. If you enjoy cooking, and you can help us with that, we will gladly share dinner together. But, of course, there are other moments together. If necessary, dropping off at the supermarket is no problem.

The work was perfectly varied and fulfilling. I'll never look at a blade of grass in the same way again.
