We run an organic farm with 10 milk cows, 1 pig, a few chicken and bees. We live in a big farmhouse in 500m over the sea level with a beautiful view. It´s a really quiet atmosphere where bird singing and other animal noises dominate. We have a big garden, where we grow our vegetables and fruit. And there are many fruit trees around the house. We also produce jam, honey, juices, and more ourselves. The next bigger cities are Amstetten and Waidhofen/Ybbs (about 15 min drive). You can reach Vienna in about 1,5 hours by train, Linz in 45 min and Salzburg in 2 hours. The next train station is about 6 kilometers away, but you can borrow a bike or we can give you a ride sometimes. Don´t worry of being hungry, there is always food in our fridge :-) It would be great if you´d speak German.

There are a lot of different types of work to do on our farm. It varies from light housework to (hard) fieldwork. You shouldn´t mind to get dirty sometimes :-) Your duties could be: helping harvesting the hay, cleaning cow barns, gardening, some cleaning in and around the house, maybe cooking (if you want), building fences,...
