  Looking for someone from March 27th to April 16th for one or two weeks!!
  
  Hi travellers!
  My name is Maria. Born in Milan, after years of wandering in ecovillages in different Italian regions, we settled down in the countryside on the beautiful hills of Monferrato in Piemonte.
  We live in a country house with 2,5 acre of woods and lawn. I live here with my daughter Anita (2009) who never went to school and I'm mainly busy setting a free and creative learning environment for Anita's homeschooling and finding and creating socializing and cultural situations for her and other kids. We go hiking and organize creative labs and cooperative games in the woods.
  We love nature and animals. We belong to a group trying to protect our woods from unsustainable cutting.
  We share a synergistic garden with our neighbour (who is an expert in the field). We try to live in harmony with nature in a sustainable way. We built (with the help of volunteers) a compost toilet and a water phytodepuration.
  I occasionally work as a translator, mainly translating and intepreting Nonviolent Communication seminars from English into Italian. I met Nonviolent Communication years ago and I try to use it in my daily life!
  My daughter loves horses and she has been riding once a week for the last 4 years. She also practices aerial silks and loves watercolour painting and art in general. She likes to make origami earrings and macrame.
  We have two adorable cats!

  Helpers can get in touch with Italian culture (art, cooking), cooking with wild herbs. We just learnt how to make pasta and we can try together! They can get in touch with synergistic agriculture. Anita can share her creativity.

  Ayuda

  We are mainly looking for an English mother tongue female traveller (or very fluent English speaker) to speak and spend time with Anita so that she can improve her English. Somebody with artistic skills would be ideal since Anita loves painting and creating.
  And off course it would be better somebody who loves being with kids and can engage her in outdoor activities since we try to limit our time on phones and computers.
  Some help cooking is welcomed if the traveller likes to contribute.
  Maybe some gardening and help around the house. We can do it together to practice our English.

  Alojamiento

  Room in the house. Two cats in the house (but mainly in the garden) but off course not in traveller's room. We eat mainly vegetarian. All meals are provided. We usually have lunch with our neighbour who often has international volunteers for organic agriculture.

  It is a good place to go hiking, full of beautiful romanic churches. we can lend bikes. nerby there is a good network of people offering interesting activities: yoga, folk dances. Asti (beautiful medieval city with museums, bars and everything you need) is 20 minuts by car. Smaller towns closer. The bus transportation is limited but we can drive you. We can also do sightseeing and daytrips together with Anita so she can practice her English
