  We are Lisa, Bernhard and Felix (5) and spend our summers at Lago d’Idro in northern Italy, surrounded by beautiful nature. We run a windsurf and outdoor sports school and recently bought an old house in the village, which we are currently transforming step by step.
  During summer, our place becomes a vibrant mix of friends, volunteers and our surf crew from all over Europe. Life happens mostly outdoors – simple, active and connected to nature.
  CURRENTLY WE ARE LOOKING FOR HELP FROM 25th AUGUST until 15th SEPTEMBER!

  What you get:
  You will be part of an active and international outdoor community and have the opportunity to try all of our sports free of charge: windsurfing, wing foiling, yoga, SUP, climbing, mountain biking, hiking, swimming and more.

  The area around Lago d'Idro is surrounded by beautiful landscape and still quite untouched. You can find quiet beaches even in peak season and enjoy real Italian village life. Pizza for 5€ and espresso for 1€ included... ;-)
  
  Cultural Exchange:
  The Lago d’Idro region is still a hidden gem: surrounded by mountains, wild nature and quiet spots, even in high season.
  You’ll experience authentic Italian village life, with great food, simple pleasures and a slower rhythm.

  Our son Felix is 5½ years old and a happy, active little boy. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and has some experience in childcare. German is preferred, as it would make communication with Felix much easier.
  
  Most of the childcare would be in the afternoons. There are lots of possibilities to spend time together: playing outside on our land, going swimming in the lake, exploring the area, playing games, doing little adventures or simply hanging out together.
  
  We are looking for someone who enjoys being active and creative with a child, but also understands that sometimes a five-year-old simply needs someone who is present, patient and attentive.

  We bought an old house in the center of the village, where we provide simple but sufficient accommodation.
  It’s not luxury – but everything you need for a grounded, outdoor-focused summer.

  We offer a simple life, most of which takes place outdoors, but a lot of freedom and the opportunity to try out all of the sports we offer (windsurfing, wing foiling, yoga, SUP, climbing, mountain biking, hiking, swimming,...) free of charge. Community life is important to us. We look forward to athletic applicants who live an outdoor lifestyle.
