We have moved, so we are currently editing photos of our new home.
Currently, we are fully booked and not accepting applications for dates before March 26th.
After that, we will prioritize applicants who have the skills to make the baby food we require.
We are very attracted to people who love children, enjoy interacting with children outside of work, have experience cooking on a daily basis, run cooking classes, and people from countries we have never met before. I live with my wife, one daughter, and one son in a 40-year-old house 20 minutes walk from Lake Sanaru in Hamamatsu City. We moved in August 2024. Geographically, Hamamatsu City is located between Tokyo and Osaka. The area where we live is between the city and nature, and there are trees and rivers nearby, so we sometimes encounter insects even in my house.
We lived in the city, but we were lucky to meet someone who was like an expert on the countryside, and we lived in the countryside for a year and a half, and he taught us how to live, including DIY and home gardening. We spend our days studying various knowledge and skills while watching our children grow. Recently, I have been addicted to making soba noodles, one of the Japanese dishes.
In 2022, before my son was born, my family of three traveled all over Japan and met many families and workaway people. During that time, we exchanged many life experiences. I would like to share this wonderful experience with all of you hosts. Thank you ^^
About access:
Take the Shinkansen to Hamamatsu Station, then change to a bus and it takes about 20 minutes. By the way, if you take a bus for a while, you can get to Hamamatsu's Kanzanji Onsen town.
About communication in English:
Our English skills are at a level where we can just about communicate, but we are passionate about communication. Let's learn from each other using body language and Google Translate.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

Ayuda
Please play with my daughter and son.We are looking for people who like children and cooking. We may ask you to help with maintenance of the garden and the bamboo forest in the city, as well as DIY.
In the future, We would like to do activities to support the growth of children in the neighborhood. I would be happy if you could help me with anything, such as taking care of my daughter, housework, and helping with house renovations.
Let's enjoy cultural exchange with each other! However, we cannot pay you.
We will prepare ingredients for one meal for each person for dinner. We will take turns cooking. If you did not cook, please clean up.
Let's cook together sometimes. I think I can teach you Japanese home cooking, and I think I can learn your country's cooking from you.
If you have any dietary restrictions (meat, eggs, nuts, etc.), please let us know.
If it is difficult to follow the rules or if it is determined that you are not a good fit for your family, we may ask you to move out earlier than planned. I prioritize workaway with my family. In that case, I will notify you at least three days before your desired move-out date.
On the other hand, it is also possible to shorten your planned stay. Please let us know at least three days before your move-out date.
Since this will be a long-term shared living arrangement, we are looking for people who can voluntarily help with cleaning and tidying up the shared spaces in addition to the housework required for workaway.
