… read more degree. They are deeply creative, gentle, and modest individuals with deep appreciation for all forms of art. composition and beauty which reflects on every aspect of their life.
I was astonished to discover their home - a truly neat and aesthetic interior which was an oasis brimming with creative energy with self-made art placed in every nook and cranny. Marie-Odile is an amazing cook who takes every aspect of what it means to prepare a great meal into consideration not only as appetizing as delicious but also nutritious and filling using organic ingredients grown in their garden.
These wonderful hosts allowed flexibility over my working hours in their beautiful garden which consisted of weeding, planting flowers and vegetables, lawn mowing/trimming, sawing wood for the fire among many other activities. We would all work together to maintain the gardens exuberance and diversity adding new flowers to its composition.
I had the pleasure to stay in a cozy bedroom upstairs sleeping on a king size bed and had access to a private bathroom having a shower every day after work.
I learned a great deal about French and Breton culture and way of life in every interaction with Marie-Odile and François. They would often propose outings to different events happening around the area such as art expositions, musical and dance performances and also introduced me to new music and art which was very enriching to the experience I had with them.
All in all this was an outstandingly positive experience and I would definitely recommend Marie-Odile and François to anybody looking for a deep cultural exchange learning about the picturesque and culturally abundant Brittany.
If there are places on earth you could call heaven this is definitely one of them!Comentarios
