  We are a small village initiative of three families with three farms in the Uckermark. We have private and community gardens, pets and farm animals and lots of work ;-) Our small village - with around 60 inhabitants - is 80 km north of Berlin, south of Prenzlau, east of Templin. The landscape is beautiful in every season, forests and fields in hilly landscapes characterize the Uckermark. The nearest shop is 20 minutes by bike, the nearest lake 15 minutes. You have contacts between the mid-twenties and early sixties, men and women. We ourselves have a wide range of training: agriculture and forestry, social work, crafts, gastronomy and event management - and are always happy to learn something new. Any help is welcome, preferably for 4-5 hours a day, 5 days a week. But we would also be very happy to have your help for "just" a weekend or a few days. Our language levels are very different - English always works, French a little - but we also know from traveling that sometimes pen and paper, hands and feet are enough to communicate. :-)
  
  
  Wir sind eine kleine Dorfinitiative aus drei Familien mit drei Höfen in der Uckermark. Wir haben private und Gemeinschaftsgärten, Haus- und Nutztiere und jede Menge Arbeit ;-)
  Unser kleines Dorf - mit etwa 60 Einwohnern - liegt 80 km nördlich von Berlin, südlich von Prenzlau, östlich von Templin. Die Landschaft ist zu jeder Jahreszeit schön, Wald und Felder in hügeliger Landschaft prägen die Uckermark. Zum nächsten Geschäft sind es mit dem Fahrrad 20 Minuten, zum nächsten See 15 Minuten.
  Du hast Ansprechpartner*innen zwischen Mitte Zwanzig bis Anfang Sechzig, Männer wie Frauen.
  Wir selbst haben die verschiedensten Ausbildungen: Land- und Forstwirtschaft, Soziale Arbeit, Handwerk, Gastro und Veranstaltungsmanagement - und lernen gern jederzeit dazu.
  Jede Hilfe ist willkommen, gern für 4-5 Stunden am Tag an 5 Tagen die Woche. Aber auch für "nur" ein Wochenende oder wenige Tage freuen wir uns sehr über Deine Hilfe.
  Unsere Sprachlevel sind sehr unterschiedlich - englisch geht immer, französisch ein wenig - aber auch wir kennen von Reisen, dass manchmal Stift und Papier, Hände und Füße reichen, um sich zu verständigen. :-)

  We are three families of different ages with different professional experiences and training - we like to pass on our knowledge and also love to learn from you. You accompany us throughout the day in various seasonal jobs, when shopping, to concerts, festivals and markets and, if you wish, in everyday life in our three families.
  
  
  Wir sind drei Familien unterschiedlichen Alters mit unterschiedlichen beruflichen Erfahrungen und Ausbildungen - wir geben unser Wissen gern weiter und lernen auch sehr gern von Dir. Du begleitest uns über den Tag bei verschiedenen saisonalen Arbeiten, beim Einkauf, gern auch zu Konzerten, Festen und Märkten und auf Deinen Wunsch auch im Alltag in unseren drei Familien.

  Ayuda

  A lot of different kinds of help are needed throughout the year: you can help with building projects, with repairs in the house and yard, with mowing and wood tasks in fields, meadows, pastures and in the forest. We need support with organizing parties, help in the vegetable and berry garden, with animal care, in the stables and during the harvest season - and, and, and... If you're good with computers, we'd be grateful for help there too. We have a long list of activities that you can browse through and choose what you enjoy most. Since many of us work Monday to Friday, it would be great if you could take your days off during the week - and we can talk together at the weekend, cook together and of course work together. You can work with us in a group or alone - depending on how you like it and what work is currently available.
  
  
  Über das Jahr werden viele verschiedene Hilfen benötigt: Du kannst bei Bauprojekten dabei sein, bei Reparaturen in Haus und Hof, bei Mäh- und Holzarbeiten auf Feld, Wiese, Weide und im Wald. Wir benötigen Unterstützung bei der Organisation von Festen, Hilfe im Gemüse- und Beerengarten, bei der Tierpflege, im Stall und in der Erntesaison - und, und, und... Wenn Du fit am Rechner bist, sind wir auch da für Hilfe dankbar. Wir haben eine lange Liste an Tätigkeiten, die Du durchstöbern kannst und wo Dir das raussuchst, was Dir am meisten Freude macht.
  
  Da viele von uns von Montag bis Freitag arbeiten sind, wäre es klasse, wenn Du Deine freien Tage innerhalb der Woche nehmen würdest - und wir uns am Wochenende gemeinsam besprechen, zusammen kochen aber natürlich auch zusammen arbeiten können.
  
  Du kannst bei uns in Gemeinschaft arbeiten oder allein - je nachdem, wie Du es magst und was grad an Arbeiten aktuell ist.

  Alojamiento

  You have your own little garden house to sleep in with a large bed, stove, electricity and no luxuries; there is room for one person or a couple. You share the kitchen and bathroom with others. We provide you with towels and bedding. Food and accommodation are free. You can cook yourself but also eat with us. If you want, you can alternatively sleep in your own tent or in your own van. - Either in our garden, but there is also a pitch with a campfire area for campers and caravans. - There is also a public shower here and you can use the kitchen.
  
  Du hast ein eigenes kleines Gartenhaus zum Schlafen mit großem Bett, Ofen, Strom und ohne Luxus, hier ist Platz für eine Person oder ein Paar. Küche und Bad teilst Du mit Anderen. Handtücher und Bettzeug stellen wir Dir zur Verfügung. Kost und Logis ist frei. Du kannst selbst kochen aber auch mit uns zusammen essen.
  
  Wenn Du möchtest, kannst Du alternativ im eigenen Zelt oder im eigenen Van schlafen. - Entweder bei uns im Garten, es gibt aber auch einen Stellplatz mit Lagerfeuerplatz für Camper und Caravanwagen. - Hier sind auch eine öffentliche Dusche und Du kannst die Küche nutzen.

  The Uckermark is very scenic, you can take long walks through the countryside, and in summer the lakes are great for swimming. We are happy to provide you with a bike. In the nearby towns there are shops, cafes, pharmacies, etc. In the larger towns (Templin and Prenzlau) there are also cinemas, museums, art and cultural events. And of course you can use our gardens to relax and retreat.
  
  Die Uckermark ist landschaftlich sehr schön, Du kannst weite Spaziergänge durch die Landschaft machen, im Sommer locken die Seen zum baden. Wir stellen Dir gern ein Fahrrad zur Verfügung. In den nahegelegenen Orten gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Cafes, Apotheke etc.
  In den größeren Städten (Templin und Prenzlau) auch eine Therme, Kino, Museen, Kunst- und Kulturangebote. Im Sommer gibt es viele kleine Feste, Märkte, Konzerte. Und selbstverständlich kannst Du unsere Gärten zum entspannen nutzen und um Dich zurückzuziehen.
