Descripción
Hello we are Magda and Marian with 5 children from 17 to 4 and half years old. We are an italian-slovak family. We speak 8 languages. We've been travelling for several years through Europe with our truck while working on markets, selling wooden kitchen ustensiles hand scuplterd by Marian.
I (magda) love the baking world with sourdough, I love to cook and experiment in the vegetable garden.
Since 5 years we stopped in Sicily where we started to cultivate vegetables, baking bread, living a simple life.
For the last three years we've been hosting a little alternative educational project in nature (for children ages between 10 and 14y) which we created together with other families.
We decided to move our educational project from our home (a very remote place) to a beautiful farm near the sea of Noto.
For that reason the distances began to be too big and we decided to move closer to the project.
We settled in a piece of friends land with olives and almonds trees, we are 2 minutes driving from the center of Noto city but still immersed in nature!
We have settled a camp with our camping van, a roulotte and a truck.
We have an outside common kitchen, a very basic compost toilet, solar energy and above all we have running water !!
We are living a basic life, we have the fire place always on.
I (magda) started to work on the educational project accompanying small children. Our 3 smaller kids are participating to the project as well, from monday to friday until 2pm.
Marian is working at the camp, doing his handcraf work and making the living situation better and better.
We have a dog. We used to have many chicken but they have been eaten by wild dogs or fox .. soon we will restart..
Generally we try not to use phones by the common places and with children around. We invite people to use it in their own private places.
We appreciate when you ask before taking picture of children.

You can learn the art of wooden sculpting, you can learn many different languages as we speak daily Italian, slovak, English and French. You can learn how to make bread and how to cook delicious Italian and slovak dishes and pizzas !
You can learn about gardening and you can learn a lot as well while sharing some time with the children!

Right now we are working on a project of constructing a good compost toilet and a shower corner. Also we are starting to construct a roof for the rainy days.
Happy if you have knowledge and forces to share about that.
Playing creatively with kids, talking different languages.
Cooking and tidying up the common spaces is very appreciated.

We are living 2 minutes from the beautiful city of Noto, 40 minutes from Syracuse and 20 minutes driving from a beautiful quiet sea side!
We live immersed in nature and beautiful almonds and olive trees.
