We are...
... listening to the land.
... passionate about soil health, exploring the ideas of Elain Ingham’s soilfoodweb.
... exploring life through the arts, moving, dancing, painting, writing, theater.
... inspired by Masanobu Fukuokas natural farming practices and David Holmgren’s take on permaculture.
... aware that we relate to the earth through the body. We love everything the body loves.
... admiring Will Bonsall’s approach to veganic food production and his pragmatism.
... loving Robin Wall Kimmerer’s story of the berry people.
... we are interested in the functioning of our nervous system and see trauma-work as an effective way in transforming our separation from the earth, and other living beings.
... a private homestead, we would like to relearn the culture of giving and sharing the abundance that the plant world exemplifies to us.
We live...
... in the Haute-Saône, near Vesoul (F), in a small hamlet on 9ha of land. We have a garden, an orchard, a bit of forest, some grassland, and lots of hedges. We love to share the abundance of the natural world, by creating a safe and self-sufficient environment in cooperation and connectedness. We value the dynamics of life processes and try to respect the lifecycle and individuality of all living beings. We are attempting to one day be self-sufficient.
Our interests & passion:
Being outside - observing - learning - permaculture - playing (with nature and arts) - cooking for each other - laughing - regenerative agriculture in a small scale - opening a community living space with big flower- and vegetable gardens - dancing - harvesting wild berries – heartfelt communication - planting trees - meeting new people, family and old friends - making firewood - sitting together by the fire - growing vegetables, fruits, nuts and flowers - dying wild herbs - creating a water landscape with ponds - "sändelen" (Swiss German - living as if we were children playing in the sandbox) - creating a place of trust for every being.
Olivier (1968) was a trouble shooter in New York, journalist in Zurich, also lived in Spain and Amsterdam - and now in Hurecourt. Permaculture-designer, father of two sons, critical thinker and observer of the world around him. Loves to be in the forest.
Andrea (1971) theater maker, community builder, artistic being, constellation leader and Freilern enthusiast, trauma therapist (in training) dances and cooks with pleasure and lets herself be rooted by the plant world with its flowers, wild plants more and more in itself. Mother of 2 adult Freilerner – sons.Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

Are you interested to join us for a while by helping in preparing a paradise flower garden - habitat of bees, insects, humans and beauty?
... or would you like to be part of a work-away-community creating a co-living space? With other traveling singles, couples and families?
… or would you like to help with renovation, forestry, gardening?
... to exchange ideas about being human on earth? And how we learn to relate again, to the land, the plants and the animals and like to implement projects with us?
... cook together, roam in nature, make music and dance? Enjoying life, laughing and playing.
We are looking for help with all the work on the homestead. And would also like to give people of all ages the opportunity to step out of their everyday life to experience an alternative..
It is important to us to only do what is really felt by the heart (especially for the big picture). Slowly and with time. Simply simple.
We plant trees, shrubs, perennials, and lots of flowers.
We love tomatoes.
...and all other vegetables.
We mulch. Deeply.
We slowly renovate the old farmhouse.
Constantly improve our infrastructure.
We maintain our grasslands, hedges, and forest.
We cut our own firewood.
We are sometimes torn between manual and machine assisted work.
And we dream lots of dreams.
We dream of rebuilding our small cabin in the forest.
We dream of inviting more people to share our small paradise.
We dream of …
What serves us:
People with renovation skills and those who can handle a tractor. BUT also perennial gardeners, permaculture enthusiasts, musicians and artists of all kinds. People from whom we can learn their way of cooking, their songs, etc. But you're also welcome if you don't have any skills, and you would just like to join us for a while.Idiomas

3. room in the house
We like to cook and eat together, mostly vegan. lots of veggies, preferably but not exclusively, from our own garden and sometimes vegetarian, rarely some organic meat.Algo más...
We live very close to nature, so it's best if you like to take walks in the woods, listen to old oaks, follow animal tracks or love to hike.
The house is situated in a small hamlet. Everything is still very original. In summer there are tourists for whom we can organise concerts, outdoor cinema or tavolatas.
There is a camping site (1km), a bakery, a small shop, a post office, hairdresser, flower shop in the neighbouring village(5km). A river is 10 minutes away by car.Un poco más de información
