  We are a family of five living in beautiful Bantry, west Cork. We have a busy household with three children and a dog as well as running a small business in town. We have two daughters, Annie May aged 10 and Kim aged 6, and their baby brother Fiach who is 5 months old. Mark is an illustrator/designer and I am an architect and we run a drawing studio in a shop Bantry where we hold drawing classes and creative activities for adults and children. We would love to host a Workaway who would like to help at home and minding the children while we manage work and creative activities at Work Shop. We live within easy walking distance of Bantry town.

  We are a friendly and interesting household offering opportunity for cultural exchange through music, design, and art. Our children speak Irish at school so you might learn a little of that too! There is also an opportunity to participate in classes or creative activities at our drawing studio Work Shop if you’re interested in design and art.
  
  We also know plenty of people in Bantry that you could meet, and there is a big busy market on a Friday offering lots of opportunities for cultural exchange. Bantry has pubs with live music, cafes and restaurants, shops and a great local library. Other local amenities include a mobile sauna at the weekends, sea swimming and nice walks.

  Bantry is a busy town with lots of amenities and a great base to explore wilder parts of West Cork and the Wild Atlantic Way. It is connected by bus to lots of smaller local villages and also to Cork City.
