  We're Manuela and Uwe. We moved to the Algarve in 1998 and have been running an organic farm with many animals ever since, as well as growing vegetables and fruit. Some time ago, we decided to focus more on horses, donkeys, and ponies. After more than 25 years of farm work, we're going to slow down a bit and enjoy everything even more.
  
  
  Wir sind Manuela und Uwe, sind 1998 an die Algarve gezogen und haben seitdem eine Biofarm mit vielen Tieren betrieben und ausserdem Gemüse und Obst angebaut.
  Nun haben wir uns vor einiger Zeit entschieden, uns mehr mit Pferden, Esel und Pony zu beschäftigen. Nach mehr als 25 Jahren Farmarbeit werden wir mal etwas ruhiger machen und alles noch mehr zu geniessen.

  Intercambio cultural y oportunidades de aprendizaje

  All nationalities are welcome; we speak German, English, and Portuguese. We enjoy attending various events, going to festivals and parties with you, and would like to offer you the opportunity to get to know the Algarve and Portugal. We would be happy to host someone who is planning a longer stay in Portugal and would like to live and work with us. A couple or two friends would also be welcome.
  
  Alle Nationalitäten sind herzlich willkommen, wir sprechen deutsch, englisch und portugiesisch. Wir besuchen gerne diverse Veranstaltungen , gehen auch gerne mit euch auf feste und Partys und möchten euch gerne die Möglichkeit bieten, die Algarve und Portugal kennen zu lernen.
  Wir würden uns freuen jemanden bei uns aufzunehmen, der auch einen längerfristigen Aufenthalt in Portugal plant und hier mit uns leben und arbeiten möchte.
  Ein Paar oder 2 Freundinnen wären auch willkommen.

  Ayuda

  We're primarily looking for a woman, even long-term, who has some experience with horses and enjoys caring for them, grooming them, and, of course, riding them. Since we'd also like to have some free time and travel for a week or two, it would be great if we could entrust you with our farm/ranch for that time. Of course, you don't have to manage this alone; we have other help available locally.
  
  In der Hauptsache suchen wir, auch gerne für längerfristig, eine Frau die etwas Erfahrung mit Pferden hat und Spass daran hat , diese zu versorgen , zu pflegen und natürlich gerne auch zu reiten. Da wir gerne auch mal etwas Freizeit hätten und auch mal für 1-2 Wochen reisen würden , wäre es schön wenn dir wir für diese Zeit unsere Farm / Ranch anvertrauen könnten. Das musst du natürlich nicht alleine bewältigen, wir haben noch weitere Hilfe hier vor Ort.

  Alojamiento

  We offer accommodation in a spacious caravan, plus an outdoor kitchen and shower/toilet. We're happy to cook and eat together. If it`s not booked we can also offer a room in the House.
  
  Als Unterkunft bieten wir einen geräumigen Wohnwagen, ausserdem haben wir noch eine Aussenküchen und Dusche /Toilette. Wenn frei, steht auch ein Zimmer im Haus zur Verfügung.
  Gerne kochen und essen wir auch alle zusammen.

  Our farm/ranch is located near the town of Odiaxere, 6 km from Lagos. Portimao is 10 km away, and the long beaches of Lagos and Alvor are 1.5 km away. The mountains around Monchique are 25 km away. Bus connections are available, and we have bicycles and rides available. Beyond the usual help and hours, we offer pocket money or reasonable compensation if you would like to take on more responsibilities. We look forward to getting to know you.
  
  Unsere Farm / Ranch liegt in der Nähe von dem Städtchen Odiaxere, 6 km von Lagos entfernt. Portimao ist 10 km entfernt und der lange Strand von Lagos und Alvor 1,5 km.
  Die Berge um Monchique erreicht ihr in 25 km. Busverbindungen sind vorhanden, wir haben Fahrräder und Mitfahrgelegenheiten.
  Über die üblichen Arbeiten und Zeiten hinaus bieten wir euch ein Taschengeld oder angemessene Bezahlung an, wenn ihr auch mehr Aufgaben übernehmen möchtet.
