Hi there, I live in central Nelson next to the Centre of New Zealand and the Maitai River. I have 2 daughters 19 and 17 - my oldest daughter has moved to Wellington so I have a spare room to be able to offer to people travelling through Nelson in exchange for jobs such as oiling a deck, sanding and painting window sills, gardening and tree work. When I first travelled in NZ before moving here this is how I worked my way around the country and met some great people and had some great experiences so I’d like to offer this opportunity now I’m in the position to do so.
I work full time but in my spare time I love to walk in the hills, swim oudoors, go camping and tramping and exploring this beautiful country! -

There is heaps to do in around Nelson so you tie it in with tramping trips around the area and plenty of great swimming places close by.
