Hello,
We are a french retired couple living in the countryside 1hour and half from Lyon.
We own a lovely guesthouse and also have a huge garden, full of flowers, a vegetable garden, a greenhouse and also a newly planted forest !
We both speak french and english. We have too children (both young adults living their own life),one cats and a few chickens !
We are lucky enough to live in a warm and welcoming house with a beautiful view on the montains ( Vercors ). Our small town is only 20min by car to Romans Sur Isère, where we can get everything we need.
There is plenty to visit nearby and we have bikes if need be.
Please, don't hesitate to contact us if your intersted in lending us a hand !!

We would be happy to show you around, go biking together (there's a green bike road following the local river not far). Being very found of swimming and going to the theatre, we could go together. Of course, we can also take to the nearby mountain Vercors or take to the local museums nearby. But overall, you would mostly gain experience and knowledge regarding gardening and hospitality.
Goes without saying, you will discover first hand the french generous and rural way of life !
We would be happy to help with your french, if you need.

We are looking for some help 5 hours per day :
Lending a hand in the garden; Building projects on the property; Helping around the house (cooking our shared meals and cleaning our shared space)A bit of all that, wich would be done together, with us.
For the weekends visitors can leave the house to go and discover the Vercors or Lyon, leaving for the day is easy. In this case it is necessary to communicate well so that we do not plan work or meals.
if you choose to stay at home, and eat with us with us we will ask you to give a hand to the life of the house

You will be staying in your own room and will have acces to a private bathroom. Occasionnaly, you might be sharing a bathroom with one of our kids passing by.
For the meals, we will provide breakfast and lunch and depending on our availibility we could share the supper.
