Descripción
We are Allan and Manja, a former librarian and accountant. We took early retirement to start a u-pick tulip and flower farm. Our farm is located in south east rural Ottawa, about a 25 minute drive from downtown. We are open to the public to pick flowers in May and July through August. We are focused on scaling up our flower business and we are finding our house to-do list is sadly neglected.

We are located a 25 minute car ride away from downtown Ottawa. We are happy to share our historical and cultural knowledge of the area. We are willing to drive you to the nearest bus or train stop. You are welcome to join us on our shopping trips into town. If you are interested in flower farming, Manja, is very keen on sharing her knowledge.
Because our house is located on a road that connects to a larger road, we have many friends popping in for a few minutes to chat or stay for coffee. You will find that our farm is busy with people coming and going through out the day. This will be especially the case this year as we are having a large barn constructed on site.
Our daughter works on the farm and often brings our young grandchildren with her. We have several young people working on the farm. We traveled widely while living in Qatar for 10 years. We enjoy meeting people to learn about their culture and listen to their stories. -

We are happy to help you improve your English. Manja's french is quite good but is shy about speaking it. We are Dutch immigrant children. We'd love to learn more dutch. We have a grandson who speaks Greek. Our Greek is very rudimentary but would enjoy expanding our Greek vocabulary. -
Alojamiento
You will have a room with a shared bathroom. If you are willing to share a room, we can accept 2 people as there are two single beds in the room. In summer there is electricity for a camper. Generally, breakfast and lunch are help yourself from our pantry / fridge with supper being a shared meal. Al is an especially adventurous eater, so if you want to try out new recipes on us, go ahead!

We can accept families if you have your own campervan or tent. We only have one bedroom room in the house with two single beds.

Cash is an indoor / outdoor cat. He is friendly and loves to play. He has a oversized character despite his small size. When he gets scared or lonely, he turns in circles.
