Descripción
Hello travellers! We are looking for a person or lovely couple who can help around the house, garden and farm and someone who enjoys the company of children. We are a family with 3 children - 14, 12 and 10 years old. We live in Gladstone in the Wairarapa are 20 minutes from Masterton and Carterton on a sheep and beef farm. We are looking for someone who would like to come and stay with us for 2-5 nights. However this could be extended. We would like our Workawayers to have their own vehicle if possible.

*️For any keen fisherman the Kourarau Dam is situated beside our driveway which attracts keen fisherman from around the area;
*️A beautiful vista from your bedroom door of hills and farming activity at your back door step;
*️Connections with art/museum for you to explore. -
Ayuda
We require the outside of our whole house to be washed. This will involve using a hose and a house wash mix and scrubbing - possibly using a water blaster and may involve using a ladder. We also have weeding in the garden to be done. We welcome any keen cooks to cook meals with fresh ingredients. There will also be odd jobs in and out of the house. Prepping and painting old building. Stripping fences - taking old nails out off fences on the farm using a hammer.

Accommodation would be your own campervan, or in our caravan (its clean and smokefree) parked near our house - with some great views!

We have 3 children so we expect our visitors to be good with children. We are an active family, like to keep fit. We are up early getting children off to school and going to work and expect people can work unsupervised and tidy up after themselves. Volunteers can come into town when I am travelling in and go to places of interest while I am in town. The train station is 20 minutes from our home so I can drop you here if you are wanting to go to Wellington (1 hour 20 minute train ride from Masterton). If you have your own vehicle, you will have the freedom to visit local areas once your hours or work are complete.

We have plenty of parking space near our home, where you will also have an outlook of farmland, native trees and sheep and cows.
