WE NEED 1 or 2 VOLUNTEERS FOR 1 WEEK IN JANUARY

Hello! We are Mathieu and Els, a Belgian couple living in northwest Slovenia, right on the edge of Triglav National Park. In 2010, we fell in love with this beautiful country and region, and decided to make it our home. We’ve since been renovating an old farmhouse in the hills and enjoy spending time in our garden, taking in the serene view of the valley below.
, we are looking for 1 or 2 volunteers to help us with various outdoor tasks in the garden and forest. These include:
Chopping and transporting wood
Clearing parts of the forest
Assisting with other physical tasks
We offer a one-week stay, ideal for backpackers passing through.

You will learn more about organic gardening, vegan/vegetarian cooking, construction tasks. We also like to discuss about Slovenia or your country, about Balkan, politics, environments, good food, what's new ( hardware, internet, social media, hypes) and all the good things in life.

Volunteers will help with different kinds of tasks. We will try to organise that way that you will be doing various tasks.
We take care that volunteers are not doing dangerous tasks or taking risks.

Alojamiento
A private room with a good bed and unlimited wifi. When we have more volunteers, and you are coming alone, then it is possible that you have to share a room with 1 other volunteer.

We live in a remote location. Volunteers without their own transportation will be picked up from the train or bus station in Most na Soci or Tolmin. From here, it's possible to take day trips to Lake Bohinj, Bled, or explore the Soca Valley. Additionally, there's a beautiful 6-hour hike in the hills starting from our place. And for some fun, we have a ping pong table!
Please note that we have 5 cats who live a very relaxed life, so we cannot accommodate volunteers with dogs.
Traveling by bus or train from Ljubljana is quite affordable. Especially on weekends, the bus fares are a real bargain!
When traveling by bus from Ljubljana to Tolmin, it's possible that the bus may take a detour through Cerkno.
In case of a bad weather forecast, such as heavy rain for 4 days or more, we may need to reorganize tasks. This could potentially lead to the cancellation or rescheduling of your stay here.
