My name is Lisa and I have just moved to a small village in the hills of Emilia Romagna. Collaborating with an NGO, we would love to promote slow tourism in a beautiful yet not-in-the beaten-path area. For this reason we are going to manage a small campground with the idea of attracting bike tourers, hikers and people who want to be exploring beautiful places away from the crowds. It's a quiet and beautiful place, away from traffic and the frenzy of the big city.

I'd be happy to give you Italian lessons. You can learn Italian and practice it with the locals that live in the village. We can teach you the basic white water kayaking technique, and how to perform an Eskimo roll. You can learn the ropes of managing a campground. You are close to the beaches of Emilia Romagna, the riches of Bologna (you can go to Imola by bus and train to the whole peninsula) and Florence, which is over the hills in the opposite direction and a whole lot more in between. You will have two full days to explore and go out and play (Tuesday and Wednesday) and the middle of the day Thursday through Monday, with the weekend being the busiest time.

I need help running a small campground in the Italian Apennines. The commitment required is 5 days per week, Thursday through Monday, 1-2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon. You will help with maintaining the grounds neat and welcoming (cleaning facilities) . Help is needed June through mid-September so you can apply for the whole period, but we can agree on shorter stays. A working knowledge of Italian is preferred although not mandatory. You will have two full days to explore and go out and play (Tuesday and Wednesday) and the middle of the day Thursday through Monday, with the weekend being the busiest time. My ideal would be to have volunteers staying for more than a month at a time if everything is running as expected. The tasks are all relatively easy but I need serious people since I'm operating a campground that is rated through reviews and comments.
All your ideas will be taken into account. If you have a skillful experience (hospitality, tourism, art, photography, filmmaking, social media) all a plus since there's always something I need or looking to improve.

Free accommodation and food is provided. A comfortable tent in the campground itself, with bedding and accessories to make it extra comfy with access to washing machine in my house Or else, if you travel with a campervan, you can park that in the campground and live in it.
Algo más...
The campground is located in a beautiful village next to a river where people come to swim and chill during the summer. Hiking and MTB trails abound and there is even a natural rock climbing area 30 minutes away. You can explore the beauties of Italy easily, because you can take the bus to a major train line. The Bologna airport is one hour away by car.
