We are Wim and Punam and we are living our dream, creating a magical place together with other people.
A better world, which we know in our hearts is possible.
We bought 27 hectares of land in the southwest of Portugal between Aljezur and Odexice, with a lot of pristine nature and with the ocean nearby.
We started this living community in April 2023 because we feel we want to live in a different way, off-grid, where we work playfully and co-sufficient.
In this little start-up village we like to celebrate this dance of life and we see personal growth as wealth.
To live in full bloom, share qualities and shape dreams.

Our mission is to be an inspiring and joyful village community.
To share in it with an open heart.
An invitation to grow in all areas, with each other and the environment. Towards a new reality.
We use the advisory process for making decisions. We love that we and other people share our gifts, passions and sociability.
When you are here you will be automatic be a part of the community.
Sharing and learning from each other qualities.
Wim has been an eco-builder for 35 years and has a huge knowledge that he loves to share and work with you.
Punam is an artist and enjoys sharing this love.
We also have various sports opportunities. For instance, there is a Aerial silk and Aerial hammock on our own beach. And we made a real beach volleyball court. There is table tennis table, slackline, tjoekbal and spikebal. And we have big gymnastic mats, so you can do acro yoga or other tricks.
You are invited to also bring in your own things you would like to share. We love live music!
We can give place to five volunteers.

Ayuda
Working, playing, eating, enjoying together is so much more fun so we welcome you with open arms. Everyone who feels a 'yes' to our mission is welcome, no matter what age or nationality, each with their unique story and talent.
Practically it means, that as a volunteer, you commit to help five days a week, 5 hours a day in this community. (We work in the mornings)
In the morning after breakfast we start together to connect and then you choose where you want to put your skills or perhaps something you want to learn. There is en lot of variety of work but now specially a lot carpentry and gardenwork.
Veggiegarden: making new beds, composting them, weeding, builing walls from stones, making stairs in de gardens, planting, planting trees.
Cutting trees, chopping firewood
Buiding a organic toilet house and a beautiful outdoor shower.
Making a wooden floor in the big tipi and in the ToolTempel (the workshed)
Cutting eucalyptus trees and peeling the bark, become poles for the other tipi's
Working on oure own little beach, weeding, making stone walls.
Cooking is always great!!

We love to inprove oure English and Portugees. And we can share our Dutch with you.
Alojamiento
We have large tents containing slatted beds, mattresses, blankets, pillows and bedsheets.
We are a start-up project. This means that many facilities still need to be built.
We now have an temporary outdoor compost toilet.
And a cold water bucket shower in the rivierstream. Because of did you can only use biological and biodegradable soap!
We have (on the mountain) acess to internet but no wifi.
We provide (all together) three times a day a vegetarian meal.
And please note, our living community celebrates healthy and mindful lifestyles, and we wish to remain a safe space for everybody, so we ask not to smoke, drinking, and using drugs (incl marijuana) during your stay here.

We have created a great beach on the rivier side with hammocks which is great for chilling out.
The shared car "Bassie" can be used for trips on days off. There are beautiful beaches close by and great walking trails.
