  I'm a former backpacker and workawayer who put my roots down here in Kelowna. I'm a social worker and mom to two kiddos (2 and 4). Kids are bilingual French and English, I am not.
  
  We are working on making our house a home. Lots of happy color and DIY projects and peaceful evenings here.

  I can offer you a private room (shared 1.5 baths, queen air mattress) in Central Kelowna. I am near bus routes and all amenities and a few minutes bike ride from downtown and the lakefront. I have a bike, camping gear, wetsuit, and other outdoor gear I'm happy to share. Lots of farmstands and fresh fruits and veg here in the summer, I'm happy to show you my favorite spots!
  
  No child minding in this stay but the kids sleep from 8pm-6am so those are quiet hours here.
  
  420 friendly but no smoking on the property as it's a townhouse, so a quick walk to the road is required.
  
  Short stays of 2-5 days preferred but I'm open to various configurations. Passing through and then coming back? Need a homebase for the Okanagan?
  
  This is a cat and dog friendly home. I have one cat all the time and two dogs that visit often. Pets welcome here if they are good with kids.

  I'm looking for some help with small house renovation projects (tiling, regrouting, painting, staining deck, putting in some shelves). Some handiness is certainly an asset but there's also lots of painting that requires carefulness but not lots of experience.
  
  Creative talents are also valued! Art? Music? Cooking or baking?

  Townhouse, private room. Shared 1.5 baths. Queen air mattress.
  
  Meals or groceries included! I cook dinner most nights but am also happy for you to cook. Help yourself for breakfast, lunch, snacks. Happy to buy any foods you prefer.

  I can provide transportation to and from Vernon. I'm located very close to central bus routes and downtown area. The lake, trails, parks, etc are all nearby and accessible by bike or bus (happy to loan my bike!)

  Good wifi and private room for work. Also some drop-in office spaces located nearby. I occasionally work from home and mostly work in the office.
