We are a happy patchwork community out of different types of animal and landscape lovers. In summer there are also lots of events on Rügen Island. We can show you how we live as homesteading household and how we deal with gardening and animals. Also we give riding lessons and I am helping people with all kinds of horse problems :riding, trailer load, hoofs, horseshoeing, breeding, raising horses and training them. We also know a bit about dogtraining an have lots of little projects around farmlife.
Since I am not working as an horse trainer anymore, we are eager to become shepherds. We are raising a continuously growing herd of dairy sheep and mini sheep(Ouessants). We make cheese and use the meat. Besides we train our german shepherds for classical german herding skills, to got out to the fields for fenceless fall and winter grazing around the village. We do raise egglayers and ducks and quail too. We also process everything our selves, preserve all harvest, freezing, canning, drying, ect. Besides the flowery picture of homesteading, there is a lot to clean. Stalls, paddocks, buildings, kitchen, and all types of bucket, pots, drinkers, shelves, baskets and so on. Believe it or not, most part of being self sufficient is cleaning things up. So be prepared, it is a worthwhile way of life but there is a lot of simple work to do.
You should know we butcher and process meat from our animals. But there is no problem to cook some vegetarian meals for you if you like.

Alojamiento
We have a nice guest room, and an old farm house to life in. bathroom work but is in building. We eat what the northern hemisphere gives us as farmers. Vegetables, fruits, milk products and meat. We do not use the supermarket except of oil, sugar, spices, salt and soap, grains, ect. all food comes from our farm.
