  Hi! We are Andrea (58) and Josef (62) and we live in a romantic farmhouse in Lower Bavaria, 25 km away from Passau, a lively city with 50,000 inhabitants.
  I am a physiotherapist, I dance tango, my children are grown up and I love to create meals, parties, spaces and events. I love hosting my family and grandchildren and our friends.
  My husband works in Passau during the week and enjoys to revive his childhood home.
  We are looking for dedicated helpers to join us and the lively life in the countryside.
  Of course we offer free meals and accommodation.
  We are German, speak English and have some knowledge of Spanish, French and Italian.
  I worked in Peru myself in childcare, though many years ago (I was 20 then ;)), and I still enjoy traveling.
  I am very hands-on and familiar with volunteers from workaway: a few years ago I converted an old construction trailer into a cafe together with helpers. We had a lot of fun.

  Ich bin Physiotherapeutin, tanze Tango, meine Kinder sind erwachsen und ich liebe es, Gerichte, Feste, Räume und Veranstaltungen zu gestalten. Ich liebe es, meine Familie, meine Enkelkinder und unsere Freunde zu bewirten.
  Mein Mann arbeitet unter der Woche in Passau und genießt es, sein Elternhaus wiederzubeleben.
  Wir suchen engagierte Helfer, die sich uns und dem lebendigen Leben auf dem Lande anschließen möchten.
  Selbstverständlich bieten wir freie Verpflegung und Unterkunft.
  Wir sind Deutsche, sprechen Englisch und haben gute Kenntnisse in Spanisch, Französisch und Italienisch.
  Ich habe selbst vor vielen Jahren in Peru in der Kinderbetreuung gearbeitet (damals war ich 20 ;)) und ich reise immer noch gerne.
  Ich bin sehr praktisch veranlagt und habe schon mit Freiwilligen von workaway gearbeitet: Vor ein paar Jahren habe ich zusammen mit HelfernInnen einen alten Bauwagen zu einem Café umgebaut. Wir hatten eine Menge Spaß. Schau auf Facebook unter "Cafe Roulotte".
  Ich habe drei erwachsene Kinder, die von Arbeits- und Reiseerfahrungen in der ganzen Welt profitiert haben. Ich möchte die Gastfreundschaft weitergeben, die ich selbst erfahren habe, und möchte Menschen aus anderen Ländern beherbergen und mit ihnen arbeiten und leben.
  Natürlich gebe ich Dir gerne Informationen über die Gegend und die schöne Stadt Passau in der Nähe. Ein Führerschein ist sehr nützlich.

  I have three grownup children who have benefited from work and travel experiences all over the world. I would like to pass on the hospitality I have experienced by hosting people from other countries and working and living with them.
  Of course I will be happy to give you information about the area and the beautiful city of Passau nearby. A driver's license is very useful.

  I am looking for helpers with some knowledge in DIY/redecoration/woodworks or who are simply creative, sturdy people who enjoy working together in a harmonious place. About 4 hrs of work per day/5 days a week.

  For excursions in the natural surroundings or to nice towns like Passau or Regensburg, you can take the train- the trainstation is about 15 km from our home, we can take you there, and support you.

  In deinem Zimmer ist ein Tisch und gutes WLan. There is a desk and Wifi in your room.

  Espacio para aparcar autocaravanas

  Neben dem Bauernhaus gibt es unter dem Nussbaum die Möglichkeit, 1-2 Camper/ VW Busse zu stellen. Next to the farmhouse there is a possibility to put 1-2 campers/ VW buses under the walnut tree.
