🌿 Volunteer Opportunity in Mavrovo, North Macedonia 🌿
Hello dear travelers and volunteers,
We are a small family living in the beautiful mountain area of Mavrovo, surrounded by nature, fresh air, and peaceful landscapes. We are currently working on renovating our home and improving our outdoor space, and we would love to welcome kind, motivated volunteers who would like to join us and be part of this experience.
✨ What we need help with:
Light renovation work around the house (cleaning, organizing, small repairs)
Gardening and outdoor tasks (planting, maintaining the yard, seasonal work)
General help with keeping things running smoothly
No professional skills are required — just a positive attitude, willingness to help, and respect for our home and environment.
🏡 What we offer:
Free accommodation in our home
One meal per day (homemade, fresh food)
A warm, friendly, and relaxed family atmosphere
Opportunity to experience life in nature, away from city noise
Time to explore the beautiful surroundings of Mavrovo (lakes, mountains, hiking)
⏰ Working hours: We expect around 4–5 hours of help per day, with plenty of free time to relax and enjoy the area.
🌍 Who we are looking for: Open-minded, responsible, and easygoing people who enjoy nature and don’t mind getting their hands a little dirty 😊 Whether you’re traveling solo or with a friend, you are welcome!

We are multiethnic city and you'll get to meet people from many nationalities ... all with their stories to tell.
If you choose the stay with me in Gostivar, you will have the chance to interact with local people from the community, learn about Macedonian culture, habits and food. Furthermore, I am an awesome tour guide, so I will be happy to show you the surroundings as well as our capital – Skopje.
In terms of skills – you will get the chance to learn about working with wood, building, gardening, preparing and cooking traditional Macedonian food and many more. Furthermore, you can practice sports you enjoy or haven’t tried before.
