  We are a family with 4 children, Célestine aged 8, Roxane aged 6, Charlotte aged 4 and Camille aged 17 months.
  We live in Romainmôtier in the Swiss canton of Vaud. It's a well-preserved historic medieval village, home to the oldest abbey church in Switzerland.
  Jan works as a self-employed contractor in various fields. He is a joiner and cabinet-maker, an artist and organiser of the Book Fair.
  Delphine, who is currently looking for work and retraining, looks after the children for the most part.
  We love nature, culture and the arts in general. We want to educate our children with this respect and sensitivity to the living world, which includes limiting the use of screens.

  Travellers will have the opportunity to learn French. They will be welcomed in a beautiful part of Switzerland, surrounded by nature and a special village. We have excellent public transport links. There is a train every half hour to Lausanne in 30 minutes.
  If you want, you can also take part in Jan's various cultural and woodworking activities.
  We often welcome guests. Meetings with interesting exchanges are frequent.

  Ayuda

  We expect the helper to be with us for a minimum of 3 months, as the adjustment time and investment required is considerable. We would like someone who looks after the children to free up time for the parents' professional activities. It's a plus if the helper can cook. We're curious about other cuisines. Help with housework and gardening is also desirable.

  The traveller has a 30m2 room with a fireplace and his own bathroom, but not on the same floor (see photos).
