  Hi there.
  We are an English/Italian family and live just outside the beautiful city of Martina Franca in Puglia. We actually live up on a plateau about half an hour from the sea both to the West and the East as we live on the 'heel' of Italy's 'boot', kind of where the heel attaches to the boot. Our house is just over a kilometre from town, surrounded by countryside, but with my husband's family living on the same complex in separate houses, which is handy if you have any problems.
  
  Puglia is an amazing region, great for foodies and those who love wine - you can buy very good quality regional wine in bulk for under €2 a litre! There is a local market every Wednesday in Martina, which has fantastic typical fruit, veg, food in general, clothes and other things.
  
  We have 4 dogs, all adopted or found on the roads around town, 1 outdoor cat and some chickens and ducks. The dogs are all different in character. Pebble is the only girl, the largest dog and the absolute boss. Oliver is a love-everyone golden lab. Frodo is a bouncy monster, but happy to chill out on his bed for most of the day. Barney is a little scared of strangers, but attaches himself to you quite quickly. Sooty the cat is very independent, but loves a cuddle with her meal. The chickens spend their time taunting the dogs and doing chicken stuff. The ducks quack every time the front door opens, just in case someone is coming to feed them!
  
  The house itself is quite big, has a pellet stove for heating and a nice hot tub in the outdoor sunroom.
  
  I think you'd be very happy in our home.

  Happy for you to arrive a few days before we leave and stay for some time after we get back.

  Pet sitting our menagerie. If you fancy a walk, there is a little private wood next to the property and the dogs will be very happy to go out with you, but it's not essential to walk them every day. They eat twice a day. The cat eats in the mornings only, as do the chickens.

  Lives inside in a tank because too small to be left outside to hibernate. The baby was hatched here in our garden

  Outdoor farm cat because the dogs won't let her near the house. Loves a little bit of attention when she gets her meal.

  Scared of strangers, but soon makes friends and loves curling up next to you

  Full on bouncer or curled up asleep, very friendly little dog

  

  Oliver (10 años)

  Soft as butter and very food orientated, so be careful, sometimes he steals!

  

  Pebble

  Dominant female, the absolute boss of the pack. Very protective and a little stubborn, but very loving.
