Hello, my name is Mariejeanne.
I'm an elderly English woman who lives in Patras, in the Peloponnese.
I have an organic garden and a small olive grove. Helpers are needed for general up-keep of the organic garden, for maintenance of land and for other odd jobs.
In November help is needed for preparation work for the olive harvest and for the olive harvesting itself.
The accommodation is a self contained studio flat (hot water, heating, air-conditioning), adjoining our House in Patras.
Or at the cottage: 3 rooms + kitchen, hot water and fireplace.
As I'm unable to provide food anymore, I don't expect more then 3 hours of help a day/5 days a week.
The olive grove with a cottage (1min. from the beach) is in a small village (Alissos), 18 km from my house.
We have about 30 olive trees and some citrus trees there.
We go there by car. There is a train and bus service.
Hiking, beaches, coffee shops - all within the area.
All our production is for personal use.

We enjoyed a really beautiful time at Mary-Jeanne's place in Patras. We helped in her magical garden with some general maintenance, comprising various tasks, which we enjoyed. We are very happy for these memories and can recommend this place for other workawayers. Especially those evenings in the backyard we will miss. Thx MJ.

We had an amazing time with Mariejeanne. She has a lovely garden and the tree hours were very easy done. The house is like a museum and if you like playing the piano she will be happy to lent you the piano and listen to your music.

MJ is a very beautifull person ! She cook lovely meals for all lunch and all dîner. We share some brakes with her and sometimes with her sister ! The place is very beautifull with a big house and a lot's of trees ! To finish MJ's house is at arround 30 minutes by bus to the Patras center.

we spent four weeks in the grove to help keeping the land clean so the olive trees and the orange trees can grow freely. We loved the experience !
