Hello
We are Alain and Marick, hot air balloonists and travellers. We live in the coutryside of France, in the south west center, in a small hamlet very close to a village with all amenities.
Of course we love flying, but also taking care of our environment, walking along the river, gardening, reading, listening to music and enjoying life and good meals.
Alain has ben a sport teacher and has a long practice of restoring anything in a house from building to electricity and plombing.
I, Marick, have been a Yoga teacher and a Gestalt practician. I have also managed a very large guest house for a long time.
Boudhism and meditation are also some of my interests.

If you want to practise and impove your French language, I, Marick, wll be mostly willing to help you, wether you are a beginer or you want to improve with the grammar. I can also help you to progress in English.
You like cooking? we can cook together and I can share with you some recipies from traditional French cooking to Asian and vegetarian/vegan. I am also eager to learn from you if you enjoy cooking.
We also like to learn from others and your experience is always welcome.
Last, but not least, if you're there for a long stay, you can also learn about ballooning - a new experience!

In a house just oposite ours you will benefit from a personal bedroom, shared kitchen, bathroon, lounge and library
I, Marick, have been cooking all types of food for a long time, among which, French traditional, vegeterian, Asian,...
We will share cooking, depending on your tastes and skills. But it will depend mostly on your own.

Come and join us, we'll be happy to welcome you like a friend and help you discover our environment and French culture.
We're at a walking distance of the village. You can explore it's charming streets, have a coffe at the bookshop, visit the museum and go for shopping.
We also have bicycles available to go around further.
When I drive to the village or to the city, you're always welcome to come with me. and visit more.
Buses are also available for Limoges, the big city, 40km away.
