Tine, Nick and Rien made history in the 2 weeks they stayed with us. It felt like so many important projects were just waiting for them to arrive. We already miss having Rien biking around the yard. His giggle is so contagious :)
It was impressive to see how they make it work so well to volunteer with a child. They included Rien in so many

I had been struggling for a month with the soil drill to make holes for the fence poles. Nick took over and finished them in a day. Powerhouse!
In the following days, we cemented all the poles in their permanent place. The farm is taking shape and I'm really grateful for their help in taking these big first steps.
Don't miss out on having this happy family join your project. They are good company, creative, strong, and take very good care of everything they do!

Frida was an amazing volunteer! When she arrived i had an idea to organise the woodshed, i gave her complete freedom to do what she thought was best with it, and WOW, I still can't believe my eyes when I see it. The old woodshed was abandoned for many years and had turned into a scorpion garbage nest. Now, it's unrecognisable, super organised and

She tought me and the other volunteers how to use the power tools we had laying around. Any thing going on, she was able to fit in, gardening, building, cementing poles, cleaning and cooking.
Oh, and if she comes to your workaway, don't let her leave without making her delicious olive bread!
I'm so happy to have met you Frida! Come back anytime :) Thank you for all you hard work

What a wonderful month! Phaedra is an amazing host in a lovely place. It has been so much fun experiencing the very beginning of this project! Making the first garden beds, cleaning out and demolishing old woodsheds, organizing the new toolshed, painting, building!! Always there’s something new!
We would start our days with breakfast in the sun,

I learnt about "Greek time" here, everything doesn't have to be so strict, take a coffee!;) Jokes aside, hours were flexible wich was nice!!:) Lunch, dinner and other tasks were split very nicely throughout the week. With this concept we got to taste amazing Greek food by Phaedra or her dad (such a great person!) but also share our own food cultures with the other volonteers!
When not working you could take a nap in the hammock under the grapevines, take a walk in the olive groves just behind the house, or go to the beach a short drive away:) We were also invited to concerts and workshops in the area!
Phaedra is full of energy with so many ideas, and also welcomes any ideas the volonteers have which makes it a very fun project to work on! I really recommend a stay here<33
Thank you so much Phaedra, Kostas, Coco and everyone else<3 I hope to see you again!

We really loved having Martin and Isa here. They were fun to have around and very motivated to help. In just a week, they have left their mark here. With the rusty door that they made look like it was brand new, Martin knows alot about paint! And much more like in the vegetable garden, adding a permaculture touch! They saw what projects were going

I really hope they come back one day to see how the project they helped start is growing! I recommend Martin and Isa to everyone, they are super reliable, independent and social.
We stayed with Phedra and her dad for a week with our campervan to help out. We were immediately welcomed into the family. Everyone is laid-back, but there is also a good daily structure. In the mornings, we discuss the day's tasks and distribution. As everything is still under construction, you can contribute your ideas very well. You are free to

She also looks after all the volunteers very well and is super funny, caring and creative. The two of them are just totally welcoming and open to new things, which really impressed us. Their dad (Costas) is a great cook and spoilt us with traditional delicacies and he is also an excellent singer. We were even treated to a private concert! The surroundings are also very beautiful in the countryside. The day-to-day tasks range from planting beds, woodwork, cooking, painting and building things. We really enjoyed it and when we left we felt like we were leaving good friends. We will not forget you. You should definitely do a workaway here ;) Thank you for everything :) Isa and MartinFotos

One of my most precious moment in greece !!!
Phaedra is very inspiring in many ways, she takes life in a very easy and spontanous way, and is full of positivity which makes working with her very enjoyable.
Permaculture is not only the wifi password but deeply how she thinks her project. So because it is the starting of her project it makes it

In a month we have been doing diverse things, in the garden but also some sanding, painting, cleaning, cooking experimentations, we started the fences... So you will find your hapiness in milokokkia ;)
Her family-hamlet is pure kindness. Many musical evenings, concerts, shared food, everybody was super welcoming and joyfull. I left this place very happy to have met them, feeling lucky, they have a big spot in my heart !!!Dejado por el anfitrión para el workawayer (Juliette)
We were very lucky to have had Juliette as our first volunteer, I recommend her to everyone! She stayed 5 weeks with us and she became like family. We built a pallet compost, made the vegetable garden, started the work on the fence, renovated the toolshed and many more. She got along well with everyone and made a great impression on the villagers
