Hi! I’m Phaëdra, originally from Belgium and Greece. After spending years volunteering and learning about regenerative agriculture, natural building, and community living, I decided to move to my family’s quiet village to start regenerating the land and turning it into an eco-project-farm. (The idea is still taking shape, but it's time to get started!)
This is the first year of the project, and I’d love to have like-minded people join. It’s a chance to share ideas, learn from each other, and figure things out while getting our hands dirty.
The land is next to a forest and only 10 minutes by car from the beach, so there’s some nice nature to enjoy. The village, with shops and tavernas, is just 2 km away—an easy walk or bike ride. Most of the year, my dad, who’s a great cook, will be around too!
We started building a fence around the farmland to protect it from the boars. This is a big project and a very useful skill to learn! On the program for this summer are other foundations like building mobile chicken coops, creating a nursery and saving seeds of local trees and shrubs, as well as preparing the irrigation systems for the windbreak and future orchard. Around december we will harvest the olives.
If you like hands-on work, sharing ideas, and would like to be a part of a regenerative farm in its early stages, we’d love to have you here!Tipos de ayuda y oportunidades de aprendizaje

My father and I speak Greek, English, Dutch, and French, and we’re excited to host people from different cultures to exchange food, traditions, language, and stories. There are fun cultural events to experience, like the panigiri festivals that take place all over in the summertime. Our region is full of history to explore, including the story of our people, the Vlachs, who are native to the borderlands of Greece and Albania.

Don't expect a strict schedule or deadlines, we are laid back. The idea is to work for 5 days per week, 5-6 hours per day. The daily tasks include cooking, cleaning around, and some gardening. And then whatever project we have going on. You'll work as you feel, there is no pressure here. If you’ve got a skill to share or just want to try something new, there are plenty of projects to dive into, like renovating the shed and other old structures around the land. So these skills are greatly appreciated. There are also lots of other stuff that you might like, like clearing a hiking path on the mountain, scavenging for materials, rebuilding fallen stone buildings, or whatever else comes up. There’s always something to do, and you get to choose what you want to focus on!

The main work task was to weed the olives from the brambles. We mostly worked in the evening hours when the air was cooler. The process was very satisfying to see and enjoy the sunset on the hillside.
